Ohropax Classic Earplugs - 6 Pairs

Best earplugs and I’ve tried lots. They go in and stay in all night. yes, they are a little sticky, but they don’t break up or get stuck. I have very short however these may not be ideal if you have long hair that could attach to the wax. But for me, I can’t do without them.

These earplugs work very well. They are made from wax and are more malleable than silicon earplugs. As with all ear plugs they will create a little pressure in your ear when you first put them in but this can be released with ease (less pressure compared to silicon earplugs). You do need to warm these up in you hand. Once warm roll into a ball and then mould them over the ear canal. The longer you warm them in your hands the easier they are to apply. While sleeping the earplugs tend to create a better seal around your ear canal because they will warm up from your body heat. Once they settle in these earplugs can reduce noise level by 21 - 29 dB. There are 12 wax earplugs included and I find that one pair lasts me 7 days. The one down side from the silicon earplugs is that they leave a little sticky residue of wax in your ear after use. Having tried many earplugs (silicon, foam and wax) I find these are the best and even though they leave some residue behind its 5 stars from me. Never slept better.

Normal ear plugs (the kind airlines give out on long-haul flights) rarely fit in my ear, and when they do, the fit is so loose it does not seem to make much difference sound-wise. These wax earplugs, however, are the perfect solution! You roll them up in your fingers to make them slightly soft and then basically seal off your ear canal from external noise. My family and I used them on holiday over New Year's as we had read reviews of our accommodation stating that it was situated in a 'lively, bustling neighbourhood' (i.e. very noisy at night). Although there were many bars blaring out music, and people chatting and drinking in the streets, I shut out all the sounds and slept completely undisturbed. If normal foam earplugs do not work for you, then I really cannot recommend these enough.

Having always used foam earplugs I'm now in a very noisy hospital where they don't begin to cut out the noise. I've therefore been trialling wax and silicone earplugs in desperation. These wax earplugs are great - in my top two. I've managed to get four nights use out of one pair before they went a bit hard. My only criticism is that they leave the ears very greasy, and it's for this reason that I've given the silicone Mack's Pillowsoft top spot.

LOVE LOVE LOVE these earplugs and owe my sanity to them. Suffered from terrible insomnia due to constant noise during the night - both outside and inside (partners heavy breathing). Suffered with early morning birdcalls, foxes, and loud yobs in the night. I was lucky if I got 4 hours a night. Since discovering these earplugs I sleep my full 8 hours!! The foam plugs just used to fall out of my ears, but these are soft and mouldable, and your body heat seems to melt them ever so slightly so they just stick inside your ear until you're ready to remove them in the morning. I am not sure I'll ever be able to survive without them, so I hope they are never discontinued!

Tried these for a few weeks. They are okay and mould well to your ears. Definitely better than the old style moulded plugs. However, tend to find that after they warm up, they become very soft, almost like a chewing gum consistency which makes my ears feel quite sticky and uncomfortable. Having now tried Macks pillow soft, they tend to be less sticky and hold their shape better.

I bought these because I have a neighbour who loves to party all night at the top of his voice and I was at my wits' end. I had tried foam earplugs and they didn't work at all - all the noise just went straight in my ears but I had the uncomfortable feeling of my ears being full of something. These are a great product, they block out almost all the noise - sometimes it takes a wee while, but as they get warmer in your ears they seem to work even better. They feel a bit funny at first, but you forget about that once you are asleep. I would recommend these highly.

I used Flent's earplugs from the United States for years. They became harder to get when Walgreens stopped carrying them. I saw these recommended and got a few boxes. They are better quality than Flents. A bit softer and waxier, but same effective sound blocking. The little plastic case is nicer. The only funky thing about these is that the pink cotton is more on the surface of each earplug than woven in. It makes them look like little bits have fallen off of a pink easter bunny, and you kind of have to knead them a bit so they are usable. But that doesn't really matter. These are great. Much better than your typical foam earplugs. These block out much more noise.

Funcional, um dos poucos que REALMENTE bloqueia TODO ruído externo (desde que adequadamente colocado). Além disso, não costuma causar tantos problemas otológicos quanto outros do mesmo tipo (se mantendo uma boa higiene, claro, e não se usando o mesmo par por mais de 6 a 8 dias, ainda que não haja qualquer indicação a respeito).

Habe beim Aktionsangebot 3x12 Ohropax "zugeschlagen" und bin seit eh und je mit Ohropax am zufriedensten, da alle anderen optional auch zur Verfügung stehenden Formen von Gehörschutz nicht an dieses Ohropax-Original herankommen, selbst wenn sie angeblich teilweise bessere Dämpfungsdaten angeben, so kann ich nur hierfür plädieren, sich damit auszustatten. Der Name sagt es schon, "Ohrenfrieden"....das trifft es wohl seit 117 Jahren. Ich bewerte nun nur das Produkt, jedoch nicht die Art und Weise, wie ich es bekam, denn das war jetzt unglaublich schlecht, ich habe nämlich als PRIME-KUNDE mehr als 2.5 Wochen davor bestellt und dann rief ich beim Amazon-Telefon an und dort lief es im Endergebnis sehr ungut und langatmig ohne Ende ab, sowie ein nicht eingelöstes Versprechen eines ausländischen Mitarbeiters, ich bekäme es nun viel früher, wurde auch nicht eingehalten. Auch nicht, eine mehrfach währenddessen mündlich angekündigte Bestätigung desselben Mitarbeiters über das Telefon, über die vollziehbare Entsprechung meines Wunsches wurde nicht nachgekommen. Wenn man also fast 3 Wo. warten muss, bis man seine wirklich wichtige Bestellung bekommt und alle vorgenommenen Telefonate doch ins Leere laufen ist das Prozedere dazu nur 1 Stern wert. Doch ich bewerte einzig das Produkt und das ist wie gewohnt 4 bis 5 Sterne wert, aufgerundet 5 Sterne! Normalerweise kaufe ich seit Jahren das auch in der lokalen Apotheke, wo ich immer meine 10 % Rabatt bekäme. Die rosa-farbenen Ohropax bestehen aus Wachs, das erwärmt sich und daher bleibt immer alles schmerzfrei, nichts klebt fest, alles dichtet bestens ab und ein kurzer weiterer Druck reicht, um sie noch dichter zu machen, das alles funktioniert nur mit Ohropax so gut. Die Farbe rosa steht hier für lind, sanft und so sind sie auch. Ich wohne etwas unerwünscht an drei Durchgangsstraßen hier mit Grenzverkehr im Kleinen Deutschen Eck zwischen den Gebirgen, dazu seit 8 Jahren Dauerbaustellen und einige Zeit lang auch auch Nachtbaustellen neben/schrägt halb unter einer Brücke, wo der Schwerlastverkehr drüber donnert und bin froh, wenn ich die unangenehme Dauergeräuschkulissen um rund 75 % reduzieren kann, wobei die Türklingel selbst in leiser Einstellung - wie ich sie einstelle - noch zu hören ist und ich aus dem Schlaf dann auch in den Wachzustand komme, wenn je geklingelt wird. Ich empfehle Ohropax und bleibe dabei.

When I first bought these, it took a few days to figure out how to get them to work correctly. I read the directions and was pretty worried about them getting lost in my ear canal, so I wasn’t feeling super comfortable putting them in my ears. But after a few nights of sleeping with them, and realizing that they weren’t going to get lost hopelessly in my ear canal, I felt more comfortable molding them. Once you figure it out, it’s golden. It kind of sounds like being underwater. My husband snores really really badly and this has been so helpful. I turn on white noise and with these earplugs in, I’m able to get a good nights rest for the first time since we started living together.
