Initially, I thought the smaller screwdriver was simply a secondary tool, but it turns out to be very useful for precision electronic tasks, as it comes with its own set of micro bits.Additionally, the driver is equipped with a 9-piece socket set that ranges from 5mm to 13mm. While it doesn't include SAE sockets, any ¼” socket should fit. This compact toolkit would be great to keep in the car for emergencies, provided you don't need SAE sockets.What I appreciate most about this kit is how everything is neatly organized and easily accessible. This allows you to spend less time searching for the right driver and more time focusing on the task at hand.

This toolkit provides a wide variety of bits for many sorts of screw fasteners and smaller nuts. It has two sizes of ratchet drivers but the smaller one only accepts the 16 mini bits and there is no adapter for the mini bit to be used with the larger driver. This is probably a good thing as subjecting the smaller bits to that much torque would likely ruin them.The mini driver is a little confusing at first, there’s an embossed patent number on the metal collar that had me thinking at first that it was adjustable torque and turning it just made the ratchet click. The way to reverse or lock the ratchet direction, however, is by adjusting the plastic collar just behind it.The larger ratcheting driver is pretty cool in that it can be adjusted through a 180 degree arc with 4 stops. The mechanism for this is cast metal so it seems pretty robust. There is also an attachment to extend the bit holder for deeper set screws.It all fits in a handy organizer which has a rotating piece on the back so that it can be hung on a peg. Or you can rotate the hanger back so that it’s retracted and the end of the box is flush.The box came with two plastic pegs holding the top down, along with a press latch. I had to cut those pegs to open the lid which was a bit tedious as there’s not a lot of room to get in a tool strong enough to cut them easily.Other than that, however, it’s a nice kit and would make a good gift for your favorite tinkerer

I would have never made it this far as a DIY'er if I didn't already have most if not all of what this set offers.The thing is I have them only in one place. At my house I have essentially two different work areas: my garage which has been converted to a workshop with all my tools including table saw, drill press, lumber storage, and tons of hand and power tools. The other place is a work area underneath a raised deck where I have a large work table with bright overhead lighting and also a lot of lesser tools. I've been slowly working towards duplicating the collection of smaller tools I keep in this latter location to avoid needing to run back and forth between my two tool supply depots. I already had a duplicate larger socket set in my second work area so this set of small pieces completes the ensemble.

When you pick it up, you notice right away that there’s a little heft to it. The big screwdriver has a nice smooth ratcheting action and can be set at an angle for some added torque. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the small screwdriver is also a ratcheting screwdriver. I didn’t think it would be. It also has pretty smooth ratcheting action but the adjusting knob to switch directions is a little finicky. There are plenty of driver bits in a variety of styles and it also comes with an attachment for driving nuts and bolts. This is a perfect little tool for the household.

This is actually a very nice and well put together set. The bits don't fall out and the screwdriver bodies themselves are very well secured in this case. Both ratchet screwdrivers operate like higher quality and the angle mechanism on the large screwdriver body works well with stops at set angles. The case itself is fairly heavy duty, and my favorite feature is that it includes all the bits and screwdrivers for full size and mini screwdriver jobs. I highly recommend this robust set; it is surprisingly worth the dough, as I was not expecting something this nice and useable. This will come in handy for many jobs. The sockets are metric though; sizes 5 to 13mm.

Highly gift-able.What I Don't Likeo The hex extension for the large handle has a lot of play when inserted. It's still usable but feels sloppy. (When a bit is used without the extension, the bit fits securely with no play.)o The sockets only come in Metric sizes. No SAE size sockets are included.Summary CommentsThis kit would make a nice gift for a DIYer. It contains a wide variety of driver bits and sockets in one small case. The ratchets can be adjusted for forward, reverse or no ratchet. The storage case keeps everything neat and organized.
