Not the best...
I just felt that this album isn't a patch on their last and has taken so long to produce...not their best work. Perhaps I just need to listen to it a few more times. Nothing really stood out for me and I've been anticipating this album for a long time.Delivery awfully slow as not UK based. The username suggested it was in the UK which was misleading - had to read up on the sellers business. Lesson learned - I chrck before buying now! Worth paying a bit more for faster delivery.

BUY! BUY! BUY!
This artist will blow you away. Absolutely worth buying everyone of Rhye albums. It completely captures what you feel . It slides around you and engulfs you in to its notes and ambience while it slowly rocks you along the shore of however you may be feeling.

A Glorious Thing
Had Rhye’s new album ‘Blood’ been released in 2017 it would very likely havebeen my album of the year : ergo, it’s going to be a serious contender for 2018!Canadian singer/composer Mike Milosh and friends have made something reallymagical here. 11 skeletal soulful R&B arrangements framing sublimely mellowmelodies and delicious falsetto vocal performances from their talented leader.Standout tracks include : ‘Taste’, with its elegant woodwind and brass decorations;‘Count To Five’, a wistful tune with lovely harmonies, built on a slick, funky backbeatand (especially) the gently lilting Latin pulse of ‘Song For You’, which would doubtlessmake John Martyn smile if he happens to be looking down from his little piece of heaven! From top to bottom, inside out and round and round again ‘Blood’ is a truly glorious thing.Essential.
