Great build quality -- much better than I expected for the price. The only thing I wish it had was an on/off switch for the safety light. Regardless, I highly recommend!

This is a nice set of pliers with the ability to cut/strip/crimp and twist wires, but the test light function is a bit lame. You have to make actual contact with alive wire for the light to activate. But it will also light up if you just touch the pliers in the wrong place. It also doesn't seem to work if you are wearing gloves. And there are no instructions in the package. If you want to know how the features work, you need to watch the videos on the Amazon page.

This is a really high-quality tool. You can tell it's made from ultra-hard steel. Cuts through wires like butter. Also, easily strips the insulation from 5 common wire sizes. Has a needle nose pliers, a handy wire twister, a cutter to remove the outer sheath of mains wires, and a splitter to separate the two wires in electrical cords. Plus it has a "live wire" tester, but due to lack of a user guide, it's hard to figure out how it works. A seasoned electrician will know, but a casual weekend warrior like myself needs some guidance. Despite the lack of documentation, I did really like this tool and recommend it, just plan on spending a little time doing some searches for how-to documents and videos. There is a how-to video on the product page and it helped me with most of the functions, but I still couldn't fully understand the "live wire" tester.

The GADO 8in1 Wire Stripper Twist pliers are well made and easy to use. They have rubber handles and thick alligator head which make for an easy grip.

This 8 in 1 combo wire stripper has a large comfortable grip. Multiple stripping options. Also has a built in ground/voltage/continuity tester built in with both audible and visual alarms. Has a strong manual latch lock at the base of the head. A useful tool that plays multiple rolls for the user.

The media could not be loaded. Pliers, wire cutter and stripper, wire twister, wire splitter, with a live wire tester all in one tool. Impressive gathering of useful tools. I needs many of these often enough and to add a built in voltage tester is a bonus for me. Hefty and Built for strenuous use. Really nice feel with the grip. I am able to use on light projects to heavy duty construction. I have some hesitation with the voltage tester so I would not use it alone to tell me if a wire is hot, but it is a good safety measure. I really like these.
