Good microscope
I wanted a microscope that was able to display on a screen. This one was rated overall pick. It has been pretty good so far. Good quality and easy to setup. Connects via HDMI or VGA cable which is nice to have options. The remote it came with did not have a battery installed but it did come with the plastic insert that keeps batteries from discharging, which seemed odd if they didn't even put a battery in it. All in all a decent microscope for the money.

Great magnification
Works great for my working on watches. These old eyes ain't what they used to be this really helps. The arm could use some more work I'll be replacing that though. It did require me to download an app on my laptop to use

I was surprised, but the thing actually works!!
When I first looked at this system after receiving it, I was extremely annoyed that the provided instructions were minimal to the extreme. Once hooked up and powered up, the labels/instructions are in Chinese. I did get the thing powered up, but to repeat, there is essentially no documentation included. Picture on the TV is clear and sharp, so I guess this is a reasonable purchase.

Makes you feel professional Lol
Beginner electronics repair guy. This so far is a good first camera for me to accomplish my goals, possible informational videos in the future. HMDI connection works great, havenโt tried VGA nor will I. I plan to get a nicer camera down the line but I think this was a smart buy.

Barely Adequate
I bought this for the price and focus height. It does quite well in those categories. I'd estimate I've been using it at around 12" (28 cm) and could easily raise it a bit higher since the focus isn't near maximum. It's been great for viewing traces and solder pads/connections on circuit boards. There's plenty of working room. Where it looses stars: 1. The pivot screw closest to the camera is flimsy. I've had to secure the cables to help hold some of the weight to keep the camera from drooping with or without the light attached. 2. The clamp is very small. I cannot fit the clamp over the edge of my table enough to grab a solid part. If your table isn't a perfectly square shape at the extreme edge, this will not clamp on. 3. The resolution is quite poor with both VGA and HDMI. It's incredibly grainy picture has nothing to do with megapixels or final resolution. It looks almost like they took a 240p sensor and upscaled it to 1080P. A true 1080P would have a real original pixel for each pixel on my 1080p monitor. This clearly does not. Text on microchips is easier to read than without it, but telling the difference between "P"/"R", "K"/"X", "C"/G" is still a struggle sometimes. 4. There's no power switch on the cord. This means, to turn it off and on, I have to literally unplug it by crawling under the desk or pulling on the camera. This is horrible for when it's so flimsy, although it seems to settle close to where it was previously. Adjusting the focus can also be the same struggle because simply touching it moves the focal length, then when you let go after rotating the focus it's instantly uncalibrated again. A careful steady hand has been enough for me, but could be very problematic for some people. Overall, it gets the job done and I'll keep it. It's high above my work surface and in my budget. One mixed up letter in a part number is still usually resolved by a Google search offering a correction. Adding supports to not rely exclusively on the clamp and pivot keeps it stable enough for me (I do not move it around).

good value for money. it gets the job done for a fraction of the cost of the most popular 4k units.
