This waterproof clipboard is not going to set the world on fire, but it does what it is designed to do.It is held close by a strip of Velcro and, in the closed position, can be turned over to use a clip on the base, so also good for dry weather. On opening, the top flips up to give access to the clip inside. Clear 'windows' at the sides and top allow in plenty of light so you can see what you are doing. Provided you are facing into the weather, the contents should remain dry.One issue, for me at least. It is an A5 clipboard and the clip holds the A5 sheet along the longest edge so, if you are working on an A5 sheet, from top to bottom, writing on the sheet can be difficult. If you clip an A5 sheet by its top edge, then the bottom edge protrudes into the weather. Possibly not a big issue, but one that I don't like.

This is a waterproof clipboard cover for paperwork or tablets etc.I want this to put my tablet in for a cruise so the sun stays off it and I think it’ll do well.It’s got an open front and it’s very easy to use. You lift the front panel up and that enables you to put your hand in to write or insert stuff. It’s then uncovered so the contents can in theory get wet if the rain is on the right direction.I think they’re a bit steep on the price but if you need it, people will pay it. I think there could be cheaper out there though.

Love these clipboards, I just bought another from this make in the giant size. They are PERFECT for job sites. I'm using them for a large home construction project to keep the permit posted for the large size.This smaller size is a good size for checklists to keep contractors seeing things you want noticed, or to keep tasks listed in one place, or perhaps you just want a place to keep job hours recorded simply and so on. It is good for extra-large-index card size, (5x7") or folded paper size.This cover-clipboard (mini here) does a good job of having something that is almost fully waterproof. I would not dunk it as the flap is velcro, not a dry bag, but under an eve of some sort it works fantastically well.I've marked mine with loud construction tape so that it is noticed or found easily. My inspectors have found them without my pointing them out, for their signing off inspection cards.Highly recommended.

I got this for my XC team manager so that she could still write down times and results on a rainy day when we have meet. It’s exactly what I wanted!
