DR Strings HI-DEF NEON Acoustic Guitar Strings (NMCA-11)

These are awesome strings! I love the sound and the look on my white acoustic guitar. A lil easier on the fingertip callouses too for those that are beginners and working through the pain! Don’t give up!!

At first I was reticent about getting color-coated strings, for fear that they'd have a loss in tone and feel "fake" under my fingers. I have a quite psychedelic finish on my acoustic, so I figured I'd take the risk and get some matching colorful strings - if they didn't live up, then I'd just toss them away and go back to my Elixirs. Boy, was I wrong! Amazingly, these strings have a bright and full tone, and remain bright and full for as long as my Elixirs have! I've had these for a while now and play several hours a day with them and haven't noticed any change in tone - it's just as bright as the colors they're made of! Talking about the colors, they glow in black light and have a blazing neon intensity in sunlight. You can see the colors from far away and lend a really cool vibe to your guitar. My only issue with the strings is that they begin to lose a little color in certain areas - mainly where you pick and where the fret touches the string. After a lot of playing they begin to lose their brilliant shine, but that was entirely expected. They haven't chipped or given me any issues other than that though!

Great strings! Love the sound the DR strings produce. I used these on my Fender Acoustasonic and they sound great. Even when plugged in. I also use there black beauties for my Bass’s as well as there DR Red Devils all great strings and great tones. Would recommend all of DR’s Strings

I bought these strings for my daughters guitar. She loves the colors of course but better yet, they sound great and are the lighter strings that she was wanting. Her last strings were nylon and while she likes the feel of the all nylon bottom strings, they didn't sound great. These strings however checked all the boxes for her 1) easy on the fingers 2)sound great and as a 3)bonus give her guitar a new look

The sound is good. With your eyes closed you couldn’t tell that they were coated unless you are a seasoned guitar player i guess. Only the red, yellow and with enough light, the green glow under a black light. I hung a 4’ black light above the tv in the playroom to add to the fun. All red, all white, yellow and neon green would be best for glowing. With that being said, the strings do shed there coating mostly where you strum the strings and where they touch the frets ( which you really can’t see). The unwound strings are the first to shed. The high e was immediate. But overall it makes playing Rocksmith 2014 game more enjoyable and easier for beginners to find the right strings in time to keep up with the game.

These strings are awesome. I know they are acoustic but i run them on all my electrics too. 11s are in my opinion the best string size. I wish the high E string was a higher vis color but other than that 10 out of 10.

The colors pop like crazy. I was a little hesitant to order because I was so unsure what they might sound like, but jeez I was suprised. I got em tuned up and the first thing I fired up was that big open E chord and those fresh strings rung out and hummed so loud and warm. I was super surprised and had that feeling of relief set in. I guaranteed I'll be ordering more of these very soon. They just feel like regular acoustic strings if you were wondering. I'm not sure if that's stain or paint, but it works well and you don't feel it at all. Just feels like regular strings 🤷‍♀️ I put a little string lubricant on them yesterday when I got them and after it sat all night I ended playing guitar for probably 10 hours today. I could not put the dang thing down lol. I had a blast playing these today and I John Mayer'd the hell put of them. 10/10, 5/5, 100%

I got the DR Neon Green acoustic guitar strings, and I have to say – these are seriously impressive. The tone is crazy – bright, clear, and full of character. They really bring out the highs and mids in a way that makes fingerpicking and strumming sound super lively. And of course, the neon green color looks amazing, especially under natural light or on stage. It gives my acoustic guitar a bold, fun vibe that definitely turns heads.
