This gets four stars for meeting expectations, for me five stars is something that exceeds my expectations, this meets my expectations which is still very good.I have very fair skin that burns up like a vampire even with high SPF applied. I got this to protect my face, scalp and neck which it covers nicely. I have an average sized ladies head and it fits just right, I do not think this would be comfortable for most men in warm weather, but would be good in cold weather.The hood and neck piece fits well, the piece that covers the mouth is a complete circle covering all the way around which gives your neck protection when the hood is down, with the hood and face mask up it gets warm quickly, if the face mask or hood is down it is cool enough for summer use.This would be five stars for me if the face mask piece only covered the front not the back, I don't think this needs two layers covering the back of your neck. The material is lightweight and washes easily.

So soft and comfortable! I’ve used several over the years but never one with a hood and that makes a world of difference. Definitely appreciate the holes around the mouth/nose area but man super soft that’s what impresses me the most!

I have tried a large number of sun protection gaiters and balaclavas from Amazon this year, trying to find an easy way to upgrade some of my non-hooded sunshirts as many of the sunshirts with built in gaiters seem to run small lately.Unfortunately, many of the balaclavas and gaiters are simply not designed with large men in mind - I have a 20" neck and most are just too small.This is the first that fits me well.Also, I prefer the vented area over my mouth, as it helps keep my sunglasses from fogging up.I will be wearing this while fishing quite a bit this month to really test it out, but so far I love it.

I've seen a number of this style of sun hoods show up on Amazon lately. What sets this Ligart brand apart from the others is the vent holes in the nose and mouth area. With these vent holes, your breath won't fog up your sunglasses as much as other brands.This sun hood is made from light, soft fabric that is comfortable on the skin. It looks to be well made and should last for years with reasonable care. Combine this with a baseball hat and a pair of sunglasses and you'll have all the skin from the neck up protected from the sun.This sun hood (and the other brands I've seen on Amazon) claim they have a cooling effect. That is not true, at least not down here in hot, humid Florida. They are cooler than a cotton hood, but they are warmer than if you weren't wearing a hood at all.

This is a really nice face mask. The material is cooling. I feel cooler in the sun with this on than without. It is ultra breathable. It covers the entire face and neck. materials are lightweight and super soft. There is nothin to dislike here. I love that there are ear holes for the interior portion. The mask doesn't fall.
