The media could not be loaded. This was definitely the best purchase. I’m thrilled! Such a delicate mug, yet so strong! I love that it’s lightweight, elegant, and has a modern design. It’s a perfect example of how thick walls don’t always mean shatterproof.I can use this mug not only for my morning coffee, which I enjoy before work, but also for cooking. There’s a measuring scale on the other side—it’s super convenient!

This is a great mug for the geeks in the family. It holds a decent amount of liquid, and so far has worked with both tea and iced tea. The image printed on the side is clear and sharp, while the glass is thin but strong. It's not overly heavy, I've had ceramic mugs that are far heavier. I have only hand washed it as suggested, but so far the image and decals have not faded or flaked off at all. Since it's borosilicate glass it's heat resistant and I haven't had a problem even pouring almost boiling liquid into it for tea. There hasn't been any staining on the glass from the teas either. My husband will be taking it to work for his office mug!

This is a cool mug! The only thing I don't like, and it's a big deal, is that it's really thin and fragile feeling. I was expecting a thick beaker like mug, basically a lab beaker with a mug handle on it. Instead what this is is like glass that feels more fragile than an average drinking glass. When you pick it up you can tell it's fragile, it weighs almost nothing. I didn't test it obviously but it feels like if you put it down on the counter too hard it will shatter. So now it's a pen holder on my desk instead of a cool mug unfortunately.

This mug is terrific. It's funny and understated at the same time, and it really, really looks like a lab beaker. It's thin borosilicate glass, so it's lightweight but the glass is relatively shatter-proof. The glass is very thin (exactly like a delicate lab beaker) so it's lightweight, but it doesn't feel particularly fragile. The handle feels sturdy. The design is impeccably printed and it's bold enough--even when the mug is empty you can still easily see the white lettering. I bought this for myself and immediately upon opening my husband saw it and added it to his holiday wish list. :)

My spouse mentioned that she wanted a coffee mug with the chemical symbol for caffeine on it, and lo and behold, they do exist. This one is extra special because it's reminiscent of a glass beaker, and it has color changing capabilities. This is especially cool because it means the decal (normally dark colored) is visible when the cup has (hot) coffee in it (changing to white for visibility). The effect is a little bit lost on a green tea like in my photo, and the print is not nearly as crisp as the product page shows, but it's still neat. The mug is also larger than a normal mug. It holds around 17 ounces of liquid, just a little less than my insulated tall mug does. My only concern is the washing method. I highly doubt this is dishwasher safe as it looks like the decal is glued on and probably would either come off in the dishwasher or the color changing aspect would be ruined in the high heat. There were no care instructions included unfortunately, but I will err on the side of caution. So, if you don't mind hand washing, this is a great gift for the caffeine lover in your life.

This coffee mug is made of borosilicate glass which makes it more resistant to temperature changes, so you can brew your tea/coffee, then put ice in it right way for an iced drink. It is in a laboratory beaker style with up to 500ml marks up the side, and a visual representation of a caffeine molecule. It's a good-sized mug (see pics), but I didn't break out my calipers to measure the wall thickness because I'm not worried about it. It seems to be perfectly sturdy enough for daily use. I got this as a gift for a chemistry major in my family, and I think she'll really like it.

I had a beaker mug before and it was thicker, heavier glass. We will see how this holds up. It also has a strange sound when you tap on it or put it down. Like it has crack but it obviously doesn't. I'm hopeful it doesn't break. We'll see.EDIT: 100% NOT MICROWAVE SAFE!!!!!!!!!!!It immediately started sparking on the rim.
