I can highly recommend this wireless adapter. I researched it first on CarplayLife and other independent review sites and it was recommended for its speed, function and tiny size. Not only is wireless Carplay/AA connection just very convenient. But for me it also overcomes a loose usb port disconnection issue we had in my wife's Suzuki. And it allows me to fast charge my phone by usb charger in my Kia whilst still using Android Auto wirelessly. It is a doddle to set up and works far better than my previous Ottocast at 1/4 of the price. We have now bought three of these for 2x AndoidAuto users and 1xAppleCarplay user. But we can all use our phones in all three cars as it is dual system. For any who might read a few negative reviews about stopping working. MSXTTLY are a good company with fast support and even video tutorials for troubleshooting. Mine stopped working once after a head unit software update. MSXTTLY emailed me step by step device firmware upgrade instructions and the problem was solved straight away. Good tech support is worth a lot with kit like this. Hence my old Ottocast now going on eBay. I should also mention that you get a choice of cables bundled with it to help with mounting options or to use with either a USB-A or USB-C port which is a nice touch and will make it easy to transfer to other cars if needed.

Android auto was via cable only in my Honda ZR-V so I bought this adapter. It works brilliantly! I usually have it connected to my Samsung S24 ultra but have also had it working with a Samsung flip 5. You can only have one device saved at a time (so a bit faffy if you want to swap phones) but other than that it is great. There is no sync delay when using maps or Spotify. Recommended.

I bought this CarPlay USB adapter because I had a week of heavy travel ahead, driving over 4 hours a day. It worked perfectly on the first day, but by the second day, it completely stopped working. I tried reconnecting it, but nothing fixed the issue. Now I’ve had to resort back to using my regular USB cable, which defeats the whole purpose of buying this in the first place. Disappointed with the product’s reliability, especially since I was relying on it for such an important week. I wouldn’t recommend it.

I purchased this to connect a Samsung Galaxy S21+5G to an Ioniq 5. Pairing it with my phone in Bluetooth was easy but not sufficient. The connection instructions for Android said that I needed to access a Developer Mode option in a menu (it didn't say whether this was in the car or in the smartphone, but I guessed that it meant the smartphone) but there was no such option. Eventually my phone offered configuration of Android Auto as an option, so I accepted that. That configuration screen offered wireless Android Auto as an option, so I checked that box; and then it connected. I've only used it for a day but so far its been reliable.

I got this adapter about a year ago, and it works exactly as expected. Phone automatically connects to the device and works almost instantly. There is sometimes a small delay with the call audio being transmitted to the car sound system. Typically wait no more than 5 minutes and a window appears on my car stating my phone is now connected. All other features work exactly as expected.

The setup is a bit techie but once done, it does of course work, but in my case, thats where it ends with this item. It randomly restarts itself, usually when its playing music from an app. It also blips on the sound, which I think is when the Samsung S23 is doing something else, like an incoming text, email etc. In an attempt to fix this I followed the instructions from scratch again, updated the stick, connected to car, wifi, BT etc. It still randomly restarts, whther thats on a 2 minute journey or 2 hours, infact it seems better on longer trips. The car is a Mazda 3, which I previously had a motorola MA1 stick for the same purpose. This worked fine, then failed after 18 months. So all in all, not great. I'v not got onto the supplier as I really can't be bothered to go through the scripts of reset etc once again.

Started great. Occasionally the connection isn't great and makes the screen go funny but usually fine. *EDIT* I've been using this 9 months now, in 2 vehicles since I changed cars and it's fantastic! Better in my Toyota than it was in the seat leon. Just set it up and forget about it. It connects as soon as you start the car and jobs a good un. Well worth the money.
