My Samsung 28" monitor with display port didn't work with this; nor did my ethernet to mini-display; nor did my vga connection. They seem to be to be using Thunderbirds 2 port (yeah i know it's not that). But I'm pretty sure my monitor is mini display and not thunderbird... and that was the main reason for using it.Contacted reseller and they offered a full refund. A++

These are very well made adapters which fit and work well. Ideally, since they are for car use I would have liked them even shorter, but I suppose there are limits and they are quite short anyway.

It works well on my laptop, but failed to power up my mobile screen which a regular USB 3.0 can power up just fine.This probably have more to do with my phone, but It's basically unusable with my oneplus 6T. Whatever I plug in the adapter my phone give no reaction. I have to plug everything in an USB hub then connect the hub to the adapter to get anything works, which kind of defeat the purpose of this adapter. Even then the connection is very unstable that a slight shake could break the connection.

The graphics card on my Windows 7 laptop only supports one external monitor. I wanted to add an additional monitor via a USB-C port. Bought this little device and it worked straight out the box. I shut down the laptop, plugged it in and connected the monitor. Rebooted and it worked perfectly. No manual installation of drivers. Very happy with this purchase.

Works absolutely great for a USB-C to Mini DisplayPort connection. The 1-star reviewers for this and similar products were trying to use it as a Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 adapter, which this is not.
