Great for people who get dry hands when fishing!!!
I trout fish in spring water, which usually dries my skin terribly. I just got home from four days of fishing. I put this lovely waxy balm on my hands before heading out to fish. My hands were wonderfully protected from the drying effects of the mineral-rich and fast-flowing waters we wade in. It felt so natural and had no perfumes or scents I did not want on my lures. It also did well leaving it in the truck on a sunny day. It maintained integrity. It is my new go-to fisher's hand balm!!

Dry skin salve
I got this sand salve for my kiddo for her hands that were so dry in the middle of winter. It is a lot more difficult to apply than I expected, especially on an inpatient child who doesn't want cream on their hands! It is a hard waxy consistency, so you have to rub in the can to get it heated up before you can apply it. I found that it works better for me than my kiddo. It is pretty heavy, so it takes some time to massage into my skin. I felt like it worked pretty well for my dry skin, but I'm not sure it worked any better than a nice quality dry skin cream. It should last a while, so it is pretty good value.

This stuff works!
I have some calluses and hard spots on a couple of my fingers from playing the drums. Tried this stuff, using a couple times daily, and those areas are considerably softer. Goes on like a wax and leaves no residue or greasy, oily feeling. Love that it only contains simple, vegan-friendly ingredients, comes in a convenient small tin perfect for pocket or purse, and it has what I consider a pretty low retail price, at around 8 bucks for the tin at the time of this review. Good stuff!

Good stuff! ..but not "Cream" by any stretch of the imagination
Honestly, c'mon guys, calling this stuff "Cream" sets completely unreasonable expectations. Hopefully soon it'll be removed from the title. Aside from that, this stuff's great. I don't consider my hands to need heavy-duty-level moisturization, but what dryness they've been increasingly suffering is very much alleviated by this salve. It's not something you can apply quite like typical lotion. It's gotta be rubbed in its can just like canned shoe polish. Considering how far a little of this goes, 'round $11-12 for this little tin of it doesn't seem too bad of a price to me.

Difficult to apply, not sure how effective it is
My hands are always dry in the winter, so I was hopping this could help as well as it advertises for "brutally dry skin". The packaging is neat and convenient. However, the salve is very stiff and waxy, which makes it difficult to apply. I feel like I need to pick it out of the container, as it doesn't come out easily. It also doesn't feel nearly as soothing as just regular lotion does on my skin. It sits heavy on the skin and doesn't spread easy. I prefer to stick with regular lotion instead.

No scent, good moisture
This is great for my rough elbows and cuticles. It’s very hard so you need to use a small spatula or your nail to dig in and get a small amount out. It doesn’t have a soft texture to it so you have to pry it up. Once you have some, though, it melts into skin easily. No scent, no color. The tin is nice because it’s durable and will be reusable once you use it all up. Absorbs rapidly and doesn’t feel greasy.

Works great and made in the USA
This Walrus Oil - Logger's Hand Salve Cream, 2oz is not the easiest to apply. Its a harder wax like consistency. I find though rubbing my fingers back and forth across it seems to warm it up and allows it to accumulate on my fingers then allowing me to spread it to the desired location. This product doesn't leave a greasy feeling like most lotions do. But it provides ample protection for my skin. I like tis product. And the best part is it is made in the USA.Only giving 4 stars instead of 5 because its somewhat difficult to apply.
