Great alternative to the Sandisk Extreme
The Samsung Evo Select 128GB was £15.99 at the time of this review whilst the equivalent Sandisk Extreme is £24.59The Samsung Evo Select has a peak read/write speed of 98.15/64.17 MB/sThe more expensive Sandisk Extreme has a peak read/write of 96.48/87.24 MB/s for comparison. When formatted, you get 119GB of storage.Reliability wise, only time will tell how long these cards will last. I have yet to have a Sandisk card fail on me and hope the Samsung cards will last just as long. For devices that wont make use of the extra speed such as the Nintendo Switch or certain digital cameras (my Canon M100 for example) this card offers great value for money and a better alternative to the Sandisk Ultra cards. The Samsung Evo Select is even a serious contender to the Sandisk Extreme cards based on my testing so far.

Fast 512GB Micro-SD card for a decent price
Picked this up for £55 on sale. It works exactly as described. It's half a terabyte of reasonably fast storage (Shows as ~480GB after formatting because the file system uses some space). Arrived pre-formatted, presumably in exFAT. I would have preferred ext4 but not enough to bother changing it.Just be careful opening the plastic package, because one tiny slip and 50 quid's worth of fingernail-sized Flash memory pings out and costs you several frantic minutes of searching for your tiny green SD card on your green patterned rug.

Effective Memory Card from a reliable manufacturer
No issues with using this memory card, formatting was straightforward with the expected read/write speeds you should see from a U3 memory card. Being Samsung, it's likely to last a long time without corruption issues or other problems that plague cheap memory cards. Could be ever so slightly cheaper as it's the same model as the red cards, just a different name.

Perfect card for 4k video recording
Reviewing the 128GB version of this card. There are a number of bad reviews here, so it's possible that some cards are fake, or perhaps people are basing the speed on a slow SD card reader. However, I have just fully tested this card using the native SD card slot on my iMac (via the included SD card adaptor). Whilst I didn't quite get the quoted speeds, they were very impressive and close enough to confirm that the card is genuine and is exactly as advertised.Quoted speeds for this card:100MB/s read and 50MB/s writeMy tests using f3 on OSX:Writing---Average writing speed: 47.72 MB/sReading---Data OK: 119.33 GB (250259966 sectors)Data LOST: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors)Corrupted: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors)Slightly changed: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors)Overwritten: 0.00 Byte (0 sectors)Average reading speed: 88.96 MB/sThe card is performing above U3 standards of 30MB/s.Some other reviewers are also marking the card down due to the formatted capacity being less than advertised. This is not a fault, it is down to the fact that different partition types have an overhead that uses capacity. For an example, simply search "exfat overhead" for thousands of explanations of how computers store data.Overall, this is a great card (so far anyway), and I would not hesitate in recommending it.

Fast Write Speed for an Affordable Card
Bought this Samsung microSDHC EVO Select card to use as extended memory in the little tablet computer I use on the road. I haven't run any performance tests, but there is no perceptible slow down in retrieval of data stored on the SD card versus internal storage.• Samsung MicroSDHC EVO Select is a great storage for 4K UHD videos, photos, music and other large files. And note that having such high speed it can transfer all your files fast and easily.Pros:+ High speed+ Durable design+ Easy to use / install+ Extended compatibilityCons:- Nothing i could think off

Works better than expected
I have two of these 512 cards, I have been using them successfully with a DJI Pocket 2, even though the Pocket 2 claims the maximum supported miscrosd card is 256gb. I have used one of these and a power bank and have filmed for most of a day without any issues.
