Excellent value and after purchase support.
I'm using this VFD on a 3 hp/3 phase 60hz/230v motor. I wired it up (simple)... I briefly scanned the included instructions but it's fairly self explanatory. Two hot legs in and a common. Three out and a common. Turned the unit on and the potentiometer spins it from a stop to the factory default 50hz. Up-down flawlessly. Since I'm building a 2x72 belt grinder I need all the rpm my motor is rated for... 3450. I tried to follow their instructions, their video posted on Amazon, YT videos, multiple hobby forum instructions and I failed at actually getting the thing to spit out more than 50hz. I can wire things, I can weld, I can build..... pushing buttons and figuring out computer stuff.... nope. Luckily I contacted the seller via email, and over the course of 4 or 5 days they got me up and running They responded in a reasonable amount of time to my multiple emails and figured it out. For those that need it, the following parameters need to be changed... P00.00 P00.04 P00.05 P03.09 The last one was my hang up. That tells the unit the maximum output of the potentiometer. The VFD is now putting out 75hz at full power. I'm very pleased. I do not have my grinder built yet. There's some concerns on the grinder forums/FB pages about the longevity of non sealed VFD's vs the very $$$ KB units. I'm going to run this exposed instead of building a secondary enclosure. At most I'll add some particulate filters in the units openings. I'm interested to see the longevity. I will update this review if the VFD fails, or I'll try and update if it continues to meet my expectations.

Decent product and good customer service
I purchased this VFD for a 2โ x 72โ belt grinder I was building. The VFD and the motor were the first things I bought. When it came time to wire the motor to the VFD and turn it on it lasted about 90 seconds and then literally blew up(see pictures). I got on my Amazon account and it was past the return date. I contacted the company that sold the VFD and they were kind enough to send me a new control board for the VFD. When I removed the old control board I noticed that there is what Iโm guessing is a bridge rectifier on the under side of the board that the legs were left on after soldering. One of those legs shorted out on one of the wires running to the coil on the top side of the board. So on the new board I cut the legs off to make sure it didnโt short out again. Iโve used it a handful of times now with no problems. Another useful tip for anyone in the United States, the settings for the VFD are all in the European standard. For example it is set for 50hz input and output. So make sure to go through the settings and set them for US standard and for the motor you plan on using. Read the directions for the motor type. Overall Iโm happy with the VFD and how it is performing. As long as I keep the metal dust out of the VFD I can see it lasting a while. Going through the settings is easy as long as you have the directions to tell you what each setting is.

So Far So Good
Installation was a bit of a pain because of the slots in the bottom of the case where the wires connect, I left them alone in case I have to return it, I didn't want anyone to have an excuse to deny my return due to voiding the warranty by cutting the plastic away. The terminals are fairly small so I modified some 10/12 gauge wire connectors for a beefier connection, 14/16 gauge wire connectors fit and will work but are too thin for this application IMHO. I made a 1/8" thick aluminum bracket to support the cable glands and cables, I didn't want to use a separate box to enclose this thing (which is not required by our local electrical code). I changed mine from the default 50 Hz to 60 Hz by changing parameters P00.00, P00.04, P00.05 and P03.09, then uploaded the new parameters as per the instructions. P03.09 is for maximum potentiometer frequency, it won't work without changing the potentiometer as well. The included instruction book is pretty fair IMHO. I just hope this VFD will last because it works great! Motor RPMs are spot on @ 60 Hz.

Very impressed
I had my doubts about this, and hesitated for weeks before pulling the trigger. I have a Bridgeport Knee Mill in my garage that requires three-phase electricity. It is a 3hp motor. Even after I received and opened the package I was filled with doubt, it is smaller than I expected and fairly light weight; I thought for sure my mill motor would eat this for breakfast. The wiring wasn't to bad, I called a friend for some pointers though, as I wanted it done right the first time. Use a tension retainer on your 220 input line, there is no way to attach the wire to the actual box. After I got it wired and plugged in I found a Youtube video that explained which parameters needed to be set for my motor and my application. It seems to me there are over a hundred different parameters, some nice ones such as; how quickly the motor spools up rather than slamming on at 100 percent. You can also use your own on/off switches in a remote location, again setting the appropriate parameters. I also like the 5v and 12vdc outputs at the top of the unit. I use the 12vdc to operate relays on the mill for various accessories. I also like the variable speed...very cool. You will need a brake resistor (not included) if you are using this on an application where the motor continues to spin at a high rate of speed after you shut it off. Make sure to buy the right size VFD for your motor. Also, it is 220volt output ONLY. You will not run 440ac out. Reconfigure your 440 motor for 220 if applicable. I highly recommend this product and will be buying another in the future.

Mysweety VFD
The unit was east to install, once up and running it produced clean power on all three legs. The VFD seemed to solve my power needs on my bandsaw for approximately 5 weeks. I shut the breaker off when I donโt plan on using the saw, I turned the breaker on the other day and the VFD wouldnโt power up, I checked and it has power in and a very dim red light inside is lit up but nothing on the display and no output. I contacted Amazon and they said I would have to deal directly with mysweety so they sent me the link to do so. I have sent two emails and when I get a reply it is a link that doesnโt work. I had to buy another VFD to get my saw up and running for work but I would like this unit replaced under warranty if the company ever sends a unable link thought email. Unfortunately I have three of these exact VFD units in my shop and I went from being very happy with the product to wondering if my equipment will work when I need it to. I would recommend looking at other products from a different manufacturer just because of the way the customer support is through โmysweetyโ.

Buy it!
I purchased this VFD for a 1 HP lathe. It works right out of the box and very easy to program. This is the second VFD that I have purchased from Amazon. I found this VFD to be simpler to use and slightly less expensive than the other one I got a few months ago . Both are capable and reliable. I am still amazed by how capable this technology is for the money. This 60 year old lathe can now get some new capabilities like auto reverse and dynamic braking. If you need 3HP three phase in a residential area this is a great choice! Expectations exceeded!

Instructions are minimal and don't cover enough to troubleshoot.
After install I went through troubleshooting with mysweets. After a dozen one sentence responses I eventually took it on myself to figure out. Works fine with very little help from the seller. Instructions are minimal and do not help troubleshooting.

VFD Inverter
I purchased this VFD to drive my wood lathe. The variable belt drive that came on my lathe was always slipping and required a new belt a couple times a years. When the single phase motor burned up was when I decided to upgrade to a 1 horse power 3 phase motor with a fixed ratio B series vee belt and add the VFD to drive it. This VFD worked perfectly right out of the box with the default settings. The functions were easy to program however I decided to keep the default settings except the maximum frequency which I set to 75 Hz to increase the spindle to about 2100 rpm. The spindle speeds are now from about 100 rpm minium to the max 2100. I played with higher Hz for higher maximum spindle speeds but just did not need them. The ramp down and up speeds are great. The reverse button works great also especially when sanding a part. The drive delivers plenty of torque to the spindle at any speed. I like this setup up so well I am thinking of changing out some of my other machines.

Works and cheap?
Works as desired. A bit jumpy at certain frequencies. No place to secure cabling. Instructions leave much to be desired of you're new at vfd. I'm using a 1 hp motor with a 3hp vfd though.

Under powered
Bought for a 3 hp 10a 230v motor which is in spec but the unit refuses to drive the motor with any significant load on it, it spins it happily with no load. I get error 4 (short circuit) not a short circuit just too much amperage for the unit*
