Works with my projector! I was hoping that it would work cause we really did not want to have to keep the google streamer plugged to an outlet and have more excess cables everywhere. Have had it a few months now, definitely worth the money. We only needed to charge the very first time and no issues since. Love that it’s small and easily hidden away to not be an eyesore lol

ATTENTION: READ MY REVIEW BEFORE BUYING. If you, like me, are looking for a solution to keep your Chromecast ON even when the TV is on standby (OFF), DO NOT BUY IT BECAUSE IT DOES NOT WORK FOR THAT. You must be wondering then what is the purpose of this device if it does not keep the Chromecast powered? In fact, it is useless, because using a USB port on your TV will deliver the same result. The only use for it is if your TV is so old, I mean VERY OLD, like more than 10 years old, in which case if your USB port is bad, it may be useful by equalizing the power supply. I felt cheated that this information was not highlighted. I wasted my money buying this thing.

Works great. Works just as described—it powers the Google TV streamer without needing to have a separate power adapter. It just lets you power it through the TV. Use an adhesive to make it perfect behind the TV.

antes de usarlo si es importante conectar el usb directo a la tv o en este caso yo lo conecte en mi puerto usb de mi laptop durante 60minutos. De no hacerlo el chromecast se apagara. Si ya les sucedió les recomiendo que desconecten el chromcast y dejen el aparato conectado al puerto usb de TV claro encendido. Después de 60minutos volver a conectar chromcast y listo nada de problemas, Ojo esto se hace solo una vez, no es necesario hacerlo cada vez que lo van utilizar. si presenta fallas como al principio es por que tal vez dejaron de usarlo mucho tiempo, si es el caso repetir pasos.
