What a great filter, fit 2019 toyota highlander limited and the car feels much lighter when step on gas. Feels like it adds more hp to the car. Will buy again.

Great value for DIY procedure for my BMW
Vehicle information: 2011 BMW 535i GT F07 The fitment is perfect, installation is simple certainly a DIY maintenance procedure. BMW wanted 300$ for install. I compared my oem to this and certainly equal or greater quality so great value. The package includes a manual and a manufacturers sticker with a feedback card. It was sealed with package inside its cardboard. The filter is a beautiful vibrant red. So when it starts to collect debris you will notice I imagine because itโll shift color but itโs recommended you repose like every 10-15k miles So intend to repurchase this exact filter when needed

I shouldn't have to modify this to fit
I bought this as a replacement for the same filter used before. The previous one went in and out of the air-filter canister as expected. This new one wouldn't fit: the rubber grommet deformed and bunched up once I got the filter halfway in. The reason for this is the plastic filter housing was very noticeably bowed on the sides. Being now stuck with its use, I took a very sharp block plane to the sides, taking off as much material as I could without reducing the integrity of the unit. Still it was too tight. A generous amount of silicone lubricant was applied to the sides. This got it all the way in, barely and with way too effort. The filter was squeezed to the point where the lock levers wouldn't turn, making it impossible to get the canister cover back on. I had no choice but to break off the lock levers - there will be some hell to pay getting the filter out when its time to replace! This is the same product previously purchased from Amazon and used in the car, in 2024. It's quite obvious to me that today's product is inferior to the one I bought two years ago - substandard injection molding practice and lack of adequate QC. This will be the last time I buy a KAX filter of any kind. There are cheaper, better made products to choose from.

Decent quality.
It's fine. Good reputation. Seems very substantial. There are no visible rubber seals around the outside like there is in others. In my research it seemed like in this case that would not be a problem. Again, seems like this product has a reputation for being decent.
