Exactly what we needed; replacing same one that is 35 years old on a boat.
Husband installed it without difficulty. Even works backwards. Original one was installed backwards but the door still stays closed when it is supposed to and opens easily. It is not symmetrical so it had to be installed the same way in order to use the same cuttings in the door and the frame.

Did not last like the original.
This was a direct replacement for the original. The first one lasted 30 years. This one lasted less than 4 years. I think the spring in this one broke within the first year.

Bought two for our Ranger 33 to replace 47 year old Perko latch sets.

Great quality but it was not an exact fit. Exchanged for different Perko part.

Almost identical to my old Perko latch of 30 years old!
My old Perko latch broke after 30 years hard-treatment! This latch replaced the old one perfectly!I can confirm the Australian manufacture, Mariner (Riviera) installed them in the 1990's - well at least on my one!

Just like the original
Replaced the 33 year old Perki with it's exact replacement though I think the round knob is a hair bigger. Looks like material they used is the same and I expect to be dead before this one fails
