It's not meant to be nutritious

Please disregard the other review on this page as 'not nutritious'. Calogen isn't meant to be, it is a high calorie drink to supplement diets in individuals unable to obtain the necessary calories for themselves. This is a MEDICINE. It should be prescribed by a doctor or a dietician and used appropriately. It is not a vitamin supplement, it is for severely underweight people to add calories and slow weight loss. For nutrition drinks, look to fortisip or ensure, or others with comparable nutritional values. This is an excellent product for its target demographic. Please ask your doctor or dietician if you would benefit from it, and if you aren't seeing either about being severely underweight, then you should buy after consultation, and as an adjunct to other nutrition therapies.
