Kicking myself
Don't be me and waste time and money on school to learn Logic Pro X. I bought this book to just keep around for quick reference. This book went over every single thing I was taught AND MORE, and in a way that was easier to understand. Bonus points that the author has his own website with even more information and cheat sheets (and better pictures bc the pictures in this book really suck lol). This book is SO well-written. The fact that I could have saved $50k+ by just buying this book from the start has me kicking myself.

Logic Pro X for Dummies
This book is easy to read and follow. I haven't read the entire book from cover to cover only because I've been using Logic Pro X for a long time and I'll probably be using it as a reference. The images in the book are dark, but don't despair, the images are all available IN COLOR upon request. This is a good book for beginners and people who have been using Logic Pro X already.

A Good Investment
I am still working my way through the book; it has been very useful. Logic Pro X has many features; therefore, any useful instruction book must introduce a new user to Logic in bits and pieces, which can be frustrating if someone wants to get the info quickly. I had to slow down my expectation about learning Logic Pro X quickly, not because the Dummies book is flawed, but Logic Pro X has so many features. The only problem that I have had with the Dummies book is many of the images of various screen shots are difficult to read, party due to the small size of the images, and party due to the lack of contrast in the images. Words in the images are difficult to read.

straight to the point
If you are new to Logic Pro, this is the right book. It goes from basic to more Advance techniques and itโs pretty clear to understand, highly recommended.

Great book for reference
Great quick reference for mind locks. Organized very well. The Author has web links where he post changes as they are released from apple and suggestions on when and when not to upgrade. Very useful book.

Usability
Thank you Graham English for including "how to" information in this manual and your related videos. Some manuals and videos mostly tell what Logic Pro X can do, but the "how to" information is what empowers us to use it! Making music at last!

Poor print m, hard to read images
The book has a lot of content yet I find better examples of what Iโm looking to accomplish from YouTube. The print is also in black and white and the images of Logic snapshots are hard to read for how grey they are. Pages are also bible paper thin.

Great Help!
I bought this for my husband, who is very tech handicapped. This has proven to be the best tutorial for using the Logic Pro X. It has become his go to for any questions he may have.

Unreadable blackness.
I bought this Logic Pro for dummies and was disappointed in how no care has been given to all those pictures in black that are unreadable. So much work and yet the smallest detail totally ignored. Hope some thing will be done to help view such important details. Thank you My 2 bobs worth.

Unbeatable Value
Logic Pro X for Dummies is absolutely first class. Well printed, with more than adequate monochrome screen grab illustrations, there appears to be absolutely everything here to fully exploit the software's capability. Reading Parts 1 and 2 to get things up and running is fairly mandatory. Thereafter, as with all such books, using it as a comprehensive reference manual should be your strategy. There are other similar books for Logic Pro X, but, as far as I can tell, none at this price point. The writing style is chatty and very readable and it's difficult to imagine how it could have been bettered. Excellent stuff.

Poorly prouced book
I'm old school and new to Logic. I thought a book would help. Na! The graphics are hard to read. The sequence of the book doesn't really get you anywhere. I've given an extra star as the writer owns a Hammond organ and the he describes some settings that may be useful in Logic Pro Otherwise the author Graham English seems like a nice guy but he is let down by the Dummies formulaic approach to this book. Better option are on line.....
