Pros :No spill when used ultra , Very helpful. Easy to use , Easy to clean.ConsAll the urinals we took had one problem, the bag starts leaking after a use of 2-3 months.feels like the joint at the outlet nozzle is at fault. With this cost this problem must not occur.If user is handling wrong handling manual should be updated.

This is a great device. It appealed to me to try to help my elderly mother who has incontinence challenges at nighttime. I figured it would help us all get better sleep because she wouldn't need to get up out of bed multiple times in the night. She agreed wholeheartedly. Unfortunately she's not able to position it well enough due to her cognitive decline. I dropped one star simply because of this. No way we could have known until we tried it out. No fault with the device. It's a great concept and execution.

It works ok in bed. I did not fine it usable in car or wheelchair. Tubing is too long and "bottle" part is too wide.

I have ALS, and this device has transformed my life. I sleep in a power wheelchair, and use the urinal at night. For the female system you have to be able to have a semi-seated position, so I scoot forward on the chair and use it. The material around the "mouth" is some kind of a foam - and it is amazing how clean the whole process is - no drips or spills. I can use the bag about three times, before it has to be emptied. In another review there was a complaint about the odor of the foam rim. I have a sensitive sense of smell, and I had no issues with that. And the odor of urine feels like a thing of the past (as long as the collecting funnel is rinsed occassionally).I used the urinal system on a cross country trip in our van - and never had to get out of the van to urinate during the entire trip. The trip would not have been possible without it. I've told the staff at the ALS clinic I attend, and they were excited to be able to share this with their other patients.Update: I have been using the urinal on a daily basis for six months, and recently ordered one for a back up. The incorrect item was sent, and within hours of my email to the Seller, I received a phone call from the President of the company inquiring about the error. As an apology, he is sending me two urinals as my back up. You can't ask for better service than that!

I really wanted to be able to give this product a high rating, but, unfortunately, the foam seal/adhesive around the opening has such a horrid chemical odor that I was not able to be in the same room with it, let alone use it. I even left it out on my deck for two nights to see if the odor would go away. It didn't, and I am reluctantly going to have to return it without knowing whether it would have worked for me or not.I would suggest that the manufacturer find a way to make its product usable by people who are severely chemically-sensitive. I have fibromyalgia, and it would have been such a blessing not to have to drag myself out of bed 5 or 6 times a night to go to the bathroom. I've read very positive reviews on this item, which is one of the reasons I bought it. I should have paid more attention to the comments where some people mentioned the smell of the foam seal.I might add that the cost of shipping is being deducted from my refund, which does not make me happy since this was purchased as a "Prime" item.

Great for tent camping in cold weather. If you are female (as is my wife) and don't want to get out of a tent when camping in cold weather, this is an ideal product. it works great, is easy to use, and is super easy to drain and clean. Although it appears to be leak proof, I advise following the instructions and keep the bladder at a lower level than the opening and hang the part with the opening and handle higher than the bladder after use, and before draining just to be sure. We have a camper tent on a truck body with an upper level so for us this is not a problem. I assume this would not be a problem in most tents as well,As a male I simply use a wide mouth bottle with a screw on lid when needed while camping in the middle of the night, a trick I learned years ago.It is made of rather cheap looking materials, but does the job.

I was not impressed with this item! After having surgery to rebuild my ankle I thought it would it save me a lot of pain, but much to my disappointment it just has not worked we'll foe me. Even when I can partially sit up it still doesn't work very well.

Have had lots of urinals for my 92-year-old mother. This one has a good seal at both ends, no leaks, and good design. Mom can sit in her lift recliner which I put in forward position and she can void without having to get up and I get no leaks because of the good seal. I put the bag in the floor with the hose going downwards for gravity.The seal that empties urine has worked well and not leaked either. After she finishes and I open the drain clip and empty urine, it's simple to clean. I simply lock the drain seal after I drain all urine, put the urinal cup up to the bathtub and fill it with water and sometimes first put a little shot of disinfectant or detergent to wash out and then let bag fill up and squish it around and drain the soapy water out to make a bit cleaner. Highly recommended!
