Great 1080 gaming budget monitor.
I've owned this for 3 years plus and it is still beautiful... Range of motion is fantastic, I'm not a computer system critic so I don't have much to compare it to but I instantly felt and still feel it is stable and provides great 1080 performance.

Top End Budget Monitor
For a TN panel, this monitor has everything you'd expect. Low response times, fast refresh and subpar colors. If you are going for absolute speed and fluidity in game then look no further. For the price this monitor kicks butt on that side of things. As for the color and picture quality, this monitor obviously isn't going to even compare to other panel styles. With some tweaking the colors can be made acceptable but if you are doing any color intensive work (editing etc.) I would go for an IPS or VA panel monitor. The stand is sturdy and I've only had one stuck pixle pop up since I purchased and unless I'm looking I'd never see it even sitting leaned in close to the 27in 1080p screen so it doesn't really bother me but I'll adjust the review if anymore pixels decide to croak. All in all I don't regret purchasing this monitor what so ever, an amazing bang for the buck.

Great monitor specially for gaming.
I was having issues finding a good gaming monitor. After pixel issues with other brands and bad IPS glow with an IPS panel and not liking curve monitors I found the one and its this viewsonic monitor.Colors are great for TN panel. You get all the TN panel perks such as fast response times. Gamers this is rated one of the best monitors from rtings for input lag.Only downside is viewing angles which plague all TN panels but I sit infront of my monitor 99% of the time.Im giving it a 5 but its more like a 4.75 cause the bezel is big, weights alot, and OSD controls are little hard to use but they are all minor things. Picture and performance is great thats what matters most.Had to downgrade this to 3stars. After using it for a week I noticed the panel had very bad backlight clouding. Playing DMC 5 the backlight was showing up in the game.

Over all an amazing monitor
This monitor is amazing, it's bright, colorful, adjustable, sleek, and all the setting you can configure on this thing is amazing! my only two complaints about this are how the sounds does not adjust what-so-ever (which doesn't bother me cause I usually wear headphones). If I'm ever asked to turn this things down I'm forced to put my headphones in because even 1 on volume is pretty darn loud. Secondly, ever since I got this this there has also been this bright patch in the corner when the screen is dark. I figured this was due to poor handling during the shipping process or maybe I was a bit rough with excitement when I was unboxing it, but either way It's not a big deal since it has to practically be a black screen to see it. Other than those two complaints this is a absolutely wonderful monitor for a manageable price!

Happy customer
I love my new monitor. I’ve never had something this big before. So far I am super happy with everything. I’ve only had it for a couple of days. I’m still trying out all my games. Messing with settings. Besides that got here super fast, had all the peaches I needed. I like the headset holder in the back. I like how easy it was to maneuver around the menu on screen. Overall happy with the monitor. Still things I want to try out. If anything comes up I’ll update review, otherwise this is a nice buy.

Just realize it's only 1920x1080 max resolution
A monitor this big needs higher resolution, don't you think? Other than that, it's got good connections and control settings. It even has built in speakers that are good enough for anything but listening to quality music. I knew about the low resolution going in, but bought it for it's picture quality, having seen my friend's. What I didn't realize is how much I'd miss the high resolution, which lets you get more things (windows) on the monitor side by side. So...good enough for gaming, watching videos and basic stuff. Not good enough for multi-tasking office work.

Seems to work with, Nvidia G-Sync
Bought this, not knowing if it would be compatible with my Nvidia GPU. Every game and benchmark I have played/used, has not been tear or stuttering. Screen seems to look pretty good and I did have to mess with some of the colors to get them to look right to me.I am using this next to an, Acer Predator XB271HK 27" 4K G-Sync monitor, and other than the resolution difference, the image is very clear and crisp. Have not noticed any dead/stuck pixels, yet.I am very happy with this monitor and will probably purchase another one for my roommates computer.

Quality 27" Gaming Monitor
I've had my two setup as a dual monitor config for over a year now and I couldn't be more satisfied. They are used for both work and for gaming. Excellent refresh rate, resolution, aesthetics and I/O port access. Even the built in speakers arnt bad.............for the price. Yes, there are better monitors available and yes there are less expensive alternatives (i.e. ASUS VG278QR) but the price point for the quality is well worth it. Oh, and i'm also buying a third for my son's gaming rig.

Really good monitor
Great monitor, has a lot of ports in a back.Lots of customizable options in the menu which is a plus.Automatically switches to active input which can be a plus or a negative depending on the situation.Speakers are a bit loud even at 1 which can be annoying if playing anything that doesn't have a volume option like a console. All in all, really good monitor with a good refresh rate

Awesome Monitor (Broke)
My first real gaming monitor noticing colours in certain games being more vivid the first time using AMD freesync fluid lines. This is an updated review as I write this my Monitor gave out I bought it on June 21, 2018 and it gave up February 13, 2020 so 18 months it lasted it's pretty sad since I've been using my old 24 in Samsung TV before that for 8 years. So basically I was playing Modern Warfare and all of a sudden my screen when white and started to do a humming sound I was afraid my graphic card was the problem but I switched back to my old TV with no problems probably be my last Viewsonic Monitor I recommend you buy the extended Warranty I didn't because I said if it last 4 years it's done this job it didn't eve nlast 2 years.

Bad slight lines and coloring
I bought this monitor in hopes that I could both game on it and do some of my work. It has ver frustrating angles to get a defined image. If you look at it straight on it has fade lines and strains your eyes. You need to have it on a slight angle to be able to see the image clearly. I am fairly disappointed. I hate posting a negative comment but at this price point, I was surprised by the monitor's lack of clarity. I have tried numerous times to make the best of it. Without success...
