The book, written by Max Lucado, makes prayer simple & achievable by everyone. There is clear, biblical explanation for communicating with the Lord though prayer. The guidelines for any prayer open communications beautifully.

Did this study in my church small group and we loved it Max is one of the best easy to follow. The videos are great the pocket prayer that he talks about his perfect.

I decided to get this book to learn more about prayer to increase my prayer life. I have been reading this book with a friend who has advanced Parkinson's disease, and it has been a blessing to both of us. Max Lucado breaks down the different parts of a prayer into easily understood parts. Each chapter builds on the ones before it. By the end of the book, you have a great deal of knowledge regarding the different party or types of prayers you can pray.

We are using this book along with the videos in our women’s Bible study! Love it!

God was breaking my heart over my prayer life. I led this study to women at our church, and we were ALL blessed. So thankful we spent time doing this 4-week study.

I was somewhat disappointed when the order arrived. I thought that I had ordered the book instead of the study guide. Without the book, the study guide is not much use to me. What I found written within the pages was great but not complete without the book to read as a reference. I certainly hope others will order the book and study guide because one is not good without the other. Thanks, Pastor Ron

The purpose of prayer

Great read, short chapters that make you think. Question at the back for I individuals of group discussions. I found it helpful to have a rest from reading between chapters to ponder Max's thoughts.

It is a must read!

Unfortunately this was not the book I thought I had ordered therefore I have not really delved into it.However, i am sure it will be useful to use alongside the original book.
