From the manufacturer Attractive Flash Drive with Innovative Click Mechanism Sony brings a powerful flash drive with 16GB space packed in a slim, compact and stylish design. The glossy finish of the Sony Micro Vault 16GB USB flash drive makes it visually attractive. Using this drive is very simple and convenient since it plugs directly into the USB port of the computer. It features a click mechanism that makes it easy to plug into the system. This mechanism works like a ballpoint pen, retracting and extending the protective sheath on the USB, making usage easy and also reducing the risk of damaging the flash drive when in transit. Weighing only 9 g and measuring smaller than a thumb makes this 16GB USB flash drive ultra-portable. You can easily slide it in your pocket or wallet to access files from anywhere. Easy File Transmission Detection, File Recovery Program & Accessible Slideshow Feature Another highlight of this Sony flash drive from others is its LED indicator light that indicates transfer activity. The light illuminates the rear end of the drive, thereby enabling you to monitor if the data transmission is on or off. The file recovery application from Sony helps recover data that has been accidentally removed. The free Slideshow software download that enables you to view pictures, music and other files in slide-show format is another interesting feature. This Sony 16GB flash drive is compatible with Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Mac OS x 10.1 or higher versions. - Capacity: 16GB - Interface: USB 2.0 - Dimension: 5.5 x 0.9 x 2cm - Weight: 9 g Review: Good Pendrive - Sony Microvault - The flash drive that doesn't stick out like a sore thumb USM-M1 features a compact, flat and stylish design that keeps your PC looking nice and tidy, plus it won't block access to adjacent ports. Ideal for use with mobile devices such as netbooks. When space it tight, its advantages shine through. While it doesn't have the best all-around performance, the MicroVault still has plenty to offer and handles most tasks well enough. The Sony MicroVault Mach USM-QX and Q series is among the best USB flash drives on the market, as it can read at a rate of around 200MBps. It is a strong choice for transferring more demanding media files, such as high-definition videos. In addition to being able to do the heavy lifting of data-rich file transfers, this USB drive has handy design features, and it offers some security for your files as well. While the MicroVault's sequential read speed is great, its write speed only averaged 54MBps in our testing. This means that transferring files to the drive takes significantly longer than moving files off of the drive. The MicroVault has a respectable 4K read speed of 5.8MBps, but its 4K write speed is terrible, clocking in at only 0.2MBps in our testing. You certainly don't want to run an operating system on this flash drive. The MicroVault includes preloaded EasyLock software, with which you can secure your files with military-grade 256-bit AES encryption. The major flaws with this flash drive, however, are its lack of password protection, the ability to create private folders and online data backup. Although this pen drive does not come with a full or partial cloud backup service as a virtual safety net, it does include the option to download the File Rescue software from the company's website. If your data, photo or video files become damaged or deleted, this software can help you recover them. Be aware, however, that there is no guarantee your data will be recoverable, and the included software doesn't support game data recovery. One area in which this flash drive comes up short is the warranty department. With a memory stick of this price and quality, the manufacturer typically includes a lifetime warranty. Sony provides only a five-year warranty for this product. Review: 1)the product is good and sturdy - 1)the product is good and sturdy. Bought on April 2016 Review after using these many years The Sony 16GB MicroVault Flash USB Drive is a compact and reliable storage device designed for everyday use. Here's a detailed review: Pros: 1. Build Quality: The device has a sturdy and durable design, ensuring it can withstand daily wear and tear. Itโs lightweight and portable. 2. Storage Capacity: With 16GB of storage, itโs suitable for storing a decent amount of files, including documents, photos, and videos. 3. Compatibility: Works seamlessly with most devices, including laptops, desktops, and other gadgets with USB ports. It's generally plug-and-play, requiring no additional drivers. 4. Brand Trust: Sony is known for its reliable technology, and this USB lives up to the brandโs reputation for quality. 5. Read/Write Speeds: Offers decent read and write speeds, though not as fast as USB 3.0 drives. It's suitable for basic tasks like transferring files or creating backups. Cons: 1. Speed Limitation: Since itโs typically USB 2.0, the data transfer speeds (approximately 10-20 Mbps) are slower compared to USB 3.0 or higher. 2. Capacity: While 16GB was a standard size in the past, it may feel limited for users handling large media files or extensive backups. 3. Design: The capless design, while convenient, may leave the USB port vulnerable to dust or damage over time. Best For: Students and professionals looking for a budget-friendly, dependable storage solution. Users needing a simple device for transferring or storing small to medium-sized files. Overall Rating: 4/5 - Reliable and efficient for basic needs, but might not meet the requirements of users seeking high-speed performance or larger storage.

Great Pendrive.!!
Great Pendrive. It has many good things in it. First of all the brand itself is enough for this to be brought. Moreover the build quality is quite good. The push and pull liver which causes the USB tip to come out and go in the plastic case provide more protection to this pendrive. Also the speed of USB 2.0 is good. No problem faced while inserting or ejecting it. Also using it since past one year and no issue faced yet. Would recommend you to buy this as it is worth of it's price in which you get a branded and good quality PD. Thanks....:)

Fully Satisfied with the product also thanks to Amazon for the fast service just got the product next day after Ordering As I suggest you can go for JBL because JBL is JBL it's sounds good better than seinheiser nd skullcandy in this price range if you are confused between jbl 100si nd 150si there is little bit of difference between them 150si have more treble than 100 nd rest all is same in both except price ๐. Go for It if your music lover I bought it at Rs 549.
