I've had varying degrees of success trying to find good quality 6-pin extension cables that are actually compatible and stable with EVGA PSUs. This 6-pin extension finally delivered! I had no issues powering my video card or OC-ing. Great product!

Used these on my mining rig. Worked perfectly. Extended the PCie connector coming off the cable plugged into the top of my GPU and connected it to the riser. Good quality cable and connectors. Do your research - a lot of other companies offer a similar product, but the reviews will show some of those connectors are wired incorrectly and can cause issues. These are perfect.

Yes its just an extensiom cable. But the most important part is the wires are all 18AWG and all 6 wires are included. That means it will supply an equal amount of power as an 8 pin cable. This also makes the extension a good value compared to far more expensive alternatives. Note: the only reason 6 pins carry less current is because the original spec only had 5 wires in a 6 pin connector. You can verify this is true by looking at your power supply cable. There are only 6 wires and a jumper that splits 2 wires off to the extra 2 pins. Also the two extra pins are only grounds.

what was needed for gpu cards, my cables too short to go from risers to gpu cards, using on amd rx580's for render farm for 3 d graphics and video effects will be buying more as i expand my gpu's
