After I troubleshooting, measured the capacitor, order ed this part, replaced, my friendas A/C restored to work well. This is good component!

Capacitor seems fine but Amazon's delivery is horrible. I have ordered three of these and only 1 ever made it to my doorstep. 2 went missing, 1 of which was delivered as an empty envelope...literally the amazon guy put and empty flat envelope on my doorstep and claimed "Product was delivered"...... Anyway, the cap seems to be doing well, but I'm hesitant to order more of these because whatever origin warehouse they are shipping from is a bit of a 3 ring circus....

I bought this item last year on 4/14/2024 for AC unit Carrier AC 58STX just to have a spare. Sometime Saturday morning (8/23/2025), the original capacitor stopped working; it lasted 8 years. So I woke up on Saturday morning without cool air. I installed it in 15 minutes and cool air was back. I just matched the original installation. The easiest repair. Remember to disconnect the power for AC condenser, or simply turn off the circuit breakers. This unit was shorter than the original. I will buy another one to have as spare.
