Flavor:Vanilla 1.5lb Arctic Ice Vanilla soft serve mix is a great tasting product found in amusement parks throughout the United States. Mixing instructions are included for use in at home Cuisinart Ice Cream.

Good stuff
First of all, this doesn't work the best in a small home soft serve ice cream maker. It tends to have a gel that plugs up the dispensing hole, so I end up scraping it out of the bowl, which sort of defeats the purpose of the soft serve. However, that aside. The flavor is good! My husband and I enjoy it. Just a tip, I have discovered that 1 scant cup of mix, 1 cup water and 1 cup milk works (since it doesn't give directions for small batches)

Artic Ice Soft Serve Mix Vanilla OOOHHH YUM
I used my electric hand blender( trying to throughly blend by hand wasn't working) to mix product with a little less than 2 qts. WHOLE MILK 2%, then refrigerated it for 3 hrs (nice and cold, thick) before using in my automatic ice cream maker. Turned out fantastic! The vanilla is creamy, not chalky, smooth texture. Will certainly buy again. I purchased the small bag, but it made enough product for 2+ batches. Taste is just like soft serve purchased at the beach. I wouldn't make it using water, the whole milk definitely gave it the richness we were looking for. Go ahead and splurge on whole milk for this one-Thank you Amazon for carrying it.

Worked great in the Cuisinart Ice45
Bought this to try in the Cuisinart Ice45. Once I figured out the math, it was easy to use. Here's what I did. There's 3 pounds of product. I divided it to 6 portions of roughly 21 ounces and bagged them. Then add 2 2/3 cup of liquid, mix, then pour it in to the Cuisinart Ice 45. It says you can use milk or water. I tried milk and it came out very tasty. I made a batch yesterday using pineapple juice instead of milk or water and it was great. Going to try some with orange juice to try for that creamsicle taste.

No directions for small, personal ice cream maker- here's what works great!
I had to guess how to mix this for a small personal use ice cream maker since the large package is apparently for commercial use. I have Cuisinart 1 1/2 Qt. Ice Cream maker and I used 2 cups of milk and 7/8 cup of mix. I stirred it to dissolve, then chilled the mix for 10 minutes, poured it in the frozen bowl mixer and it chilled perfectly and had great flavor. It says you can use milk or water, I will try water next time, but really enjoyed the milk and mix concoction.

Convenient, quality and great value
I found Arctic Ice soft serve mix to be excellent in taste and texture. It compares favorably to the more expensive brands. A 3 pound bag for $16.00 makes 8 quarts of product. I've used it in both a compressor ice cream maker and old style (ice & rock salt) machine with good results. Arctic Ice may not be well known for home use. But it's the brand used by many major theme parks, including that famous mouse. I highly recommend it.

The kids loved it!
It was easy enough to mix and it froze perfectly in my commercial machine. The kids loved it, but I was hoping for something a little creamier. The flavor is not bad, it's just not as rich and vanilla as I had hoped. Would still purchase again.
