Arrow: The Complete Sixth Season (BD) After last seasonโs emotional showdown between Oliver Queen and Adrian Chase, the focus shifts into uncovering the fate of each and every member of Team Arrow โ with their futures left hanging precariously in the balance. Having finally solidified and strengthened his crime-fighting team, the Green Arrow might be forced to rethink his relationships with his โfamilyโ in Season 6. Review: A good sixth season (prior season spoilers) - +++Warning, this contains spoilers from season 5, but no major season 6 spoilers+++ Season six of Arrow aired during the 2017-2018 TV season. The season starts five months after the events ended season 5 with Adrian Chase detonating the bombs on Liyan Yu. The season involves Oliver struggling to keep his vigilante identity a secret as well as the team trying to deal with a couple of different "big bads" throughout the season. The season ends on a quasi-cliffhanger and ends very differently than the prior seasons have. Eight episodes into the season, the big Arrowverse Crossover event happens, with a big storyline that crosses between Supergirl, Flash, Arrow, and Legends of Tomorrow. This one involves a version of Earth, called Earth-X in which the Nazis won World War II and the heroes have to face evil doppelganger versions of themselves. For those who get the blu-ray set, the 23 episodes are spread over four discs. The A/V quality is on par with the prior season releases and the releases of all of the Arrowverse shows. The extras include each episode of the crossover from the other shows, so you can watch the crossover straight through without having to get discs from the sets of the other shows, then there are featurettes on Slade Wilson, whose arc was basically wrapped up this season, a featurette on one of the big bads, and then two featurettes that are the same as on the releases for the other Arroverse series from that year. One is a featurette on the crossover event, and the other is a Best of DC at Comic-Con. Overall, the season is very good and takes the show in a new direction, which I think was necessary. The cast pretty much remains the same, really the only big change is that some cast members are upgraded to series regulars, including Katie Cassidy, who was a recurring character in season 5 after Earth 1's Laurel died and she started playing Earth 2's Black Siren. She has a very good arc with Paul Blackthorne this season and does a good job playing an evil character that is starting to show hints of good. The series also brings back characters from previous seasons, including a pretty nice surprise return. Some of the recurring and guest cast members include Kirk Acevedo (from the series Fringe), Michael Emmerson (from the series Lost), Manu Bennett (reprising Slade Wilson), and Katrina Law (reprising Nyssa). The acting and writing both continue to be very good, and the writers do a good job of keeping the show relatively fresh, even after 138 episodes. This season also sees the end of the flashbacks from the island which were getting harder and harder to make realistic as Stephen Amell got older. So, if you have been a fan of the prior seasons of the show, this is definitely worth watching. Review: The best show to have started the Arrowverse!! - Case and discs are in great condition!! I prefer the hard cases, think theyโre the coolest looking but the soft/ regular case of the one of this one is still good looking! Itโs awesome to get another season of Arrow to add to my Blu ray collection!!

Great show
Great show, just gotta get 2 more seasons to have all the seasons, was a little sad when I heard season 8 was the last season for Arrow as they have done a great job in going deeper into the Green Arrow because personally he one of my favorite and Stephen Amell did a phenomenal job at playing Oliver Queen/ Green Arriw

Blu-ray includes the crossover episodes, the DVD edition does not.
It is worth having the blu-ray edition of this just for the 3 extra episodes that correlate with the storyline from Supergirl, Flash, and Legends of Tomorrow. Without them, that crossover episode in Arrow 6 will not make much sense to you, so it's nice to see them included here. And the crossover set this year was a lot of fun, lots of good fight scenes and just having all the characters together was worth watching more than once. Heck, Felicity and Oliver got hitched in one of those episodes, which was NOT under the Arrow set, so you really need the extra episodes from the other series in the overarching 'Arrowverse' or whatever they call it. Besides that, this 6th season was good but it's starting to feel a little old, same old storyline, same kind of personal conflicts, (for awhile, the team splits in two because half of them had been spied on for a couple hours by the other half and apparently that kind of distrust sent them away with hurt feelings). Oliver asked John to take over his mantle as the Arrow so he can be a better father, but then takes it back and of course John has mixed feelings about all that as does Oliver. Also, some old characters pop in and then out again before I'm ready to see them go, (like Speedy and Roy). There were not 1 but 2 appearances of Tommy, Oliver's old friend, and each time I got excited to see him back, only to realize it was a brief cameo and not going to last. Oh well. Arrow is the one that started it all, with no less than 3 spinoffs so far (well, Supergirl might have spun off from one of Arrow's spinoffs but that still counts). But I feel it might not continue for too many more years. It's had a good run and it's going into Season 7 with Ollie in jail again, so perhaps it could get more interesting. We'll see.

A must buy if you follow this series
I thought it lost its way a bit in the middle of the episodes but it picked up and was up to its usual standard at the end. There has to be a season seven owing to the way it ended and I will look forward to it when it is on sale.

Season 6 is better that the earlier two.
Is far more decent season than season 4 & 5 in my opinion. The ending of this season actually made me feel interested in watching more. I was losing interest in this show but this season really left me wanting more.
