SO MANY ISSUES.......NEW EDIT!!
The biggest issue is that this WILL NOT play stereo. I have connected several earbuds and headphones and music only comes out of one side. So i am returning, and also not replacing. In one place instructions say to download the music to the micro sd in your computer, in another it says put the micro sd into the unit and then download through your computer. Well, my computer will see the micro sd no problem if inserted directly, it sees NOTHING when the unit is plugged in with the micro sd inserted into the unit. Another place says to do a firmware update. Not sure how i can do a firmware update if my computer does not even see it. I tried this in 2 different windows 10 laptops. Forget it, too complex. I am just going to purchase their $16 8gb unit which i have used in the past and really liked, but frankly they last about a year and then start having issues. For $16 a year to not have to use my phone as a player, that is what i will do from now on. Oh yeah, and the volume? HORRIBLE, turned all the way up resulted in about the volume of HALF what i get on their other players i have had. I would give one star just for my experience, only gave them two because maybe it is just defective ....... but i do not even want to try again with this one.SO I EASILY RETURNED THIS. THE SUPPLIER CONTACTED ME TO ASK IF THEY SENT ME A FREE ONE IF I WOULD RE-REVIEW IT IF MY OPINION CHANGED. THE REPLACEMENT IS AND EXCELLENT PLAYER, AND EVEN WITH THE TROUBLE I HAD WITH THE FIRST ONE, THE AUDIO QUALITY IS TOP NOTCH AND I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO OTHERS NOW.

Average to frustrating
Reading other reviews, I wonder if this company has quality control issues, as people don't seem to have some of the problems I have. I've taken this thing through my average day for me, which is about 14 hours of use. I'm sorry if this is long. I want to start with a TLDR conclusion:I wouldn't recommend this player, unless a sale drops it below 50$. The sound quality is great, but the quality control and build quality are very poor. I think the best word to describe this device is 'frustrating', as there is so much wasted potential here. The design and features are great on paper, but unresponsive buttons, constant updating wait times, and cheap feel ruin the experience for me.The bad:Physical:None of the buttons feel correct, as if the entire device has shifted inside of the case, but all of the ports line up. Buttons click when you press them, but this physical click only corresponds with the press being registered about 70% of the time. This makes pausing and changing the volume an involved process rather than something easy and natural. Powering on the device is especially difficult, and it always takes several tries (about 10-20 seconds) to get this device to power on. and again requires about 10-20 seconds and several attempts to power down.My only other (minor) complaint is that every button on the front 4-way pad feels different, and take a different amount of force to press, this doesn't make it harder to use, it just feels highly unnatural, strange, and cheap.Firmware:If you use the stock firmware, this player will update EVERY time you charge. I have a 32gb card, and this process takes about 2 minutes. If you use a larger card, this wait time is unacceptable; it is very easy to implement a feature to avoid this. I was unable to get the bluetooth to connect to any of my speakers, but I don't plan to use this feature. The UI is clunky but entirely usable and standard. Why they chose to use blue for unselected and blue-green for selected in dialogs is beyond me, but a very minor issue.Rockbox:Normally rockbox is not fair to mention in reviews, as the products weren't intended for it, but as the company advertises (or at least mentions) Rockbox I will too. I won't say it's a headache, because RB is never seamless, but it's certainly a problem-solving exercise. If you're using the 'first party' rockbox update, you need to rename the file to update.upt. I want to state clearly, because this is notable to me: NEITHER first-party firmware update for this player will even be recognized by this device unless you modify them in a way not mentioned by the manufacturer. Not a nightmare, but worth saying. The good:There is surely some good stuff about this player, it looks great, and the sound quality is wonderful! The company seemingly provided rockbox developers with devices, which is really above and beyond, even if there was no follow-through on that kind gesture. Rockbox is workable, and the first-party update is exactly what you need to run it with just a few tweaks on the file. Granted I only really listen to low-volume books and music, but the battery lasted through an entire day for me. This device deserves some credit for getting a lot of things correct which other players don't, and while for $60, this becomes less of a commendation and more of an expectation, it's still appreciated. You could certainly do worse in this price range. If anyone read this far, I'd recommend spending more money on something better made, or spending less money on something cheaply made that you don't have to care about, unless $60 is burning money to you. Unless these buttons break in within the next week or so, I'm returning this device and spending a little more money on something that was built correctly.EDIT: Bumped up a star because: a) the player only updates if charging on a data line and b) the buttons broke in quite a bit

Very impressive!!!
Overall this product is very good. It plays the hi-def audio files that people buying this want to play. The MP3 player itself is very solid and has a good build. The overall use of this player is very easy. It has an equalizer that you can customize for your liking, which is very helpful. The only reason for a four star rating is that the volume was slightly quieter than expected and was hoping that the volume settings could fix it, but it didn't. Otherwise it is very good. The bluetooth works perfectly with bluetooth speakers and even can pair and play music on your smart phone.

I purchased an AGPTEK ,big mistake
I am considering return this item ,the only reason i have not do it is because Amazon is now offering free technical support , the player is technically a disgrace, the bluetooth dont find some of the JBL speakers , that i used with my old machine, and the connection distance dont works after 10 feet, the memory card also AGPTEK, that i have to purchase separately because the player has not internal memory went bad the first day , the only decent thing is the sound.
