My 12 week old kitten was delirious with pure feline energy playing with this toy from the moment I set it down in front of him. Turned it off after 15 mins and he swatted his toy box wanting it back. Great toy! But I agree with the person who said this toy should be used with supervision. He got the wire between his legs several times. I cringed because he was twisting in a way that I felt might result in a cut. The wire would be safer encased in plastic or something less dangerous for rough play. He plays rough and loves this toy.Update: As much as my kitten loves this toy, I decided to return it after he somehow got the wire twisted around his paw. He wasn't hurt but I simply don't feel it's a safe toy because of this.

My 9 week old kitten loves this toy! I don't always turn it on for him but the wire still bounces back. He has a blast with it on and off but I noticed it may be a little easier for him OFF right now as his body is so little and it's hard for him to keep up. Im very happy I got him this toy to keep him busy while I'm working from home

She's lying near it because she knows she wants to play again at any minute.My cat can be picky with what she plays with. I'm so happy this was a hit! She likes to chase bugs and the motion of this toy is perfect. It has a little bounce to it in addition to the fluttering. Toy just goes in a circle but it is on a long wire so it bounces all over the place if swatted or attacked.If you buy this, but the replacement butterfly pack of 3 too. The butterfly is made of paper and the ribbons can get pulled off.Pros:-butterfly with ribbons moves a lot like a big would with that fast, jerky motion.-it can handle being caught and held onto for a little bit. Just don't let your cat sleep on it or pin it down for more than a few mins or you risk damaging the motor.-the butterfly and ribbons are fairly sturdy at staying on (or maybe my car has gotten more gentle?) If she starts chomping on it the butterfly can get ruined since it is just paper, after all. It can handle being grabbed and kicked and usually pulls free before too much damage is done.-she never gets bored with it-I have recommended to friends and their cats loved it too-Very, very easy to replace the butterfly bit - it just pops out. If you're crafty you could reuse the wire and put something else on there and continue to use it with the toy.Cons:-if your cat grabs it and chews really aggressively on the butterfly you're going to use up butterflies quickly. I started storing mine somewhere cat free when she wasn't playing with it to reduce paper butterfly destruction.-no timed auto off functionality. MANUFACTURER -PLEASE ADD THIS FEATURE! Any cat owner knows we're going to get bored long before our cat and we walk away to do other things while they play. This is only on/off with no timed auto-off function so I burn through batteries fast and can only let her play with it when I know I can be around to turn it off. Hate that I can't turn it on as I'm leaving the house or going to bed.-takes 3 AAA batteries. Since it burns through batteries fairly quickly this can get annoying.-battery case requires a screwdriver. Again, replacing batteries often - just make it a latch close for the battery compartment instead of requiring a screw driver.-doesn't bother me but maybe will others? The toy is a little loud with the motor and the butterfly moving. I find most cat toys to be pretty loud and this is on par with that.This toy will be an amazing addition to your cat's toy collection to keep their brain entertained. At the price I highly recommend you get it for your cat friend as odds are good your bug -loving it bird -loving cat will get a lot of use it of it.I did not receive any products, commission, or any benefit of any kind for this review. The media could not be loaded.  My cat LOVES bugs so I thought this would be a great birthday gift. She’s obsessed 😅 the rubber feet keep it from moving around the floor, the motor is extremely quiet, and the butterfly movements seem random even though they’re not. The only “complaint” I have is that it take 3 AA batteries and isn’t rechargeable. The battery compartment has a screw to hold it closed and I wasn’t sure where my screwdriver was, but this actually came with a little screwdriver. It’s the perfect toy for any bug-loving cat and any fur parent looking for a low maintenance way to keep their cats entertained

Our kitten absolutely loves this product. I will say the butterfly gets dragged down extremely quickly.

My cat loves this toy. She loved it so much that she tore apart the butterfly attachment and now all that’s left is the little strings which she is content with. I’m taking a star off just for the butterflies lack of durability. This toy does keep my kitty occupied and entertained for the most part and it does come with 1 replacement butterfly.

So, working two jobs I don’t really have too much time to come home and play with my kitten as much as I do on my off days… he’s a very hyperactive kitten who has so much energy!!! I got this today and instantly set it up to see if it’ll calm him down and boy does this work !!! If you have a tricky schedule and sometimes it can be overwhelming to play with your kittens after 15 minutes… this will change that. I just wish it was a little heavy so it wouldn’t move and fall over

i bought this for an indoor cat who stays mostly in my room all day due to fear of other cats in the household, and she loves it! another cat who she's friends with also plays with it, and sometimes they fight over who gets to play with it.i kept it on nearly every waking hour since i ordered it in july 2022, and finally the 2 wands broke at the wire from lots of play. the motor of the main toy still works perfectly fine, and i keep it stocked with rechargeable batteries, so i'm ordering wand replacements.the wands do tend to stop working as intended after lots of play (my cats sit on them so they drag to the floor), but you can bend the wires to make them stand up straight again.

A mis gatitos les encanto, solo que si tu gatito es agresivo con los juguetes probablemente le quite fácilmente la mariposa, pero viene un repuesto. La batería si dura mucho.

Good Quality. My cat's just were not interested in it but the item is cool. Would be super good for younger kittens/cats.

My 1 year old girl is a little uninterested, but she's also a lazy potato compared to my boy.I recommend, especially if you have a high maintenance and active cat like mine lol

I really like this toy with some exceptions. Cats like it too. Just the first day. They took to it immediately some more than others. Spins in only one direction. Wish it had varying speeds & angles. Butterfly really lives like many bugs. Would give more stars but it is not a toy in my opinion to used unsupervised. There is a metal spring that if a cat were to break the butterfly & chew it I would be concerned that it would hurt them. As a supervised & toy put away when not in use it’s a lot of fun to watch them play with it. Very satisfying. Best uses if they not bite down on butterfly. It is only paper & a cat that’s a chewer & unsupervised play I see could destroy it quickly.
