ComfyMed® Neck Brace CM-NB18 Cervical Neck Support Collar for Men and Women (LGE (15"-18"))

This is the 3rd neck brace I've bought and is the best so far. It has a great combination of comfort and support. Unlike the others, it has Velcro closure on the side leaving the font and back for supporting my neck -- much better. Also, it sits firmly on the top of the my check below my neck to give support -- others are too soft there and there isn't enough support. This gives me more support but usually the greater the support the less comfortable it is. This one has both -- comfort and support. Support to me is most important. The one downside is that it gets very hot. There is very little ventilation and even on cold days I have to take it off once in a while because it's just too hot. Almost impossible to wear in hot weather for that reason. However, excellent neck support is one of the best I've tried.Update 2-4-2020: I've tried many other braces since buying this one. This is the best and I have one in every room in the house, car, and travel bags. I have cervical vertebral disease and have neck pain with movement. This brace reduces the movement of my neck and helps relieve the pain that way. Also, I get pain relieve because this supports my chin so I can rest my head on the brace, i.e., I don't have to keep my head lifted up with my muscles all the time. This gives me pain relief. I can tell how well it works because without it my neck hurts more. The only downside is that it gets hot if I wear it too much and I have to take it off for that reason. However, I'd rather have it be hot than not have enough support and there is no other brace out there that give me the best combination of comfort and support.

Ridiculously too small..not enough extra material to attach Velcro to. Cute, nice fabric though. Will be sending back.

I was wearing a memory foam type neck "brace," and it was fine for a temporary thing after suffering whiplash from a car accident. However, the material made my skin itch (and I do have sensitive skin) and did I mention it was HOT? It was also bulky and I felt like I had to choke myself to get any support. I mention all the things I hated about that "brace" because this product is exactly the opposite of all of those things. My skin doesn't get itchy. It's not bulky. It has supports on the side of my neck so that I'm more stabilized. I wish I could say that I didn't get hot, too, but well, you can't win them all. Every once in a while, I need to take it off to let my skin cool off, but I will say that it's only a few times a day versus every couple hours like with the other brace, so even with that, it's an improvement. So all in all, it's comfy AND does a better job than those memory foam things. Plus, I can even sleep on my side in this one!

Not real “comfy” but very rigid. Difficult to put on. Very sturdily made however.

This brace seems to be good quality and very supportive, but it's way too tall for me. I thought from the photos that the black edges folded down to fit the individuals neck, but that's not the case, for me anyway. It's so tall theres pressure against the bottom of my ears and under my chin. It's very firm, which gives great support, but not a good fit for a petite person. Unless maybe you're petite but have a very long neck.

I have not been able to use because I have not been able to get it to shape it nis flat with two semi curves after over a month of storing it wrapped around and trying to form it with hands. If it would curve it would be 5 stars as I can't find a brace that's tall enough and I liked that this one had the extra support without being a hard brace. As someone who lives in a neck brace I was really excited about the fit and comfort overall and the extra support with the hard parts inside the foam except the shape hurts because it doesn't curve around the neck on a circle with the hard parts inside.

This is a soft neck brace that will keep your neck raised upright and when snugged tight, will lessen neck movement. It works well for my back and neck injury and is constructed with a soft foam pad covered with a non-removable black soft material and some blue netting material on the outside that improve its appearances for wearing it everywhere. It fastens closed with a Velcro tab, and can be adjusted for fit, and doesn't interfere at all with my sleep at night.I purchased the large size for my average build just under 6 feet tall and it is a bit tight, which is what you want. Wearing terry-cloth under the brace helps absorb the sweat during warmer months, and a neck warmer helps keep out the cold in the winter months along with the natural insulating provided by the brace material. This tends to make the brace fit tighter so I would like to have a second brace that is one size larger (XL) to switch between as needed. Unfortunately there are only regular and large sizes available.The brace is really worth its weight in gold for when you happen to doze off when sitting, and very importantly, it will provide support and keep your head upright while it is securely fastened in place. And that's a nice thing to know.

I have rarely ever left negative feedback in the 20 years of being with Amazon. But when a product's measurement is advertised incorrectly - especially in an important medical item I felt I needed to share. Due to when I purchased this item this review is not a knee jerk response. This does not fit 15" to 18" - I am <14" - It was so stiff and tight felt it was strangling and cutting off air supply Couldn't even wear. Unfortunately, I wasn't well enough to ship back so that is on me.If you are looking to buy this item - purchase a size up.

Thank you so much, ComfyMed, you saved my life. Even after medical treatment for a muscle spasm in my neck, I was in great discomfort and unable to have much range of motion. A friend suggested I get a neck brace, so I did my shopping on Amazon without really knowing what I needed. This seemed to be the right price and easy to wear and use,  felt almost immediate relief -- like putting on an ace bandage for a sprained ankle. I wore it as much as I could for a few days, in addition to doing gentle stretching exercises and no longer sleeping on my stomach, and day by day, I am using it less and feeling better.

This is a really stiff neck brace. It is not comfortable by any standard. In fact, I felt I was more sore after trying it on.Also, it is only large enough for a small neck. Any larger neck could not fit into this product.

Ordered the Large size but no way are these suited for anyone with more than aq small neck.

Material is nice, fits well. Gives me a proper support. I would recommend it.
