It finds the things you forgot to turn off
First, make sure you turn off everything that sends wi-fi or cellular signals, including routers, computers, cell phones, security cams... The camera detector appears rather simple, but it does spot camera lenses. The RF detector does indeed pick up cell phones and other wi-fi devices. If an item sends an intermittent signal, that will only be seen when the signal is transmitted - this can make for a slower sweep (would have been nice to add a "hold signal" button or something like that). I haven't use the GPS tracker yet.
