This cap works perfectly as a replacement for the chimney cap for the Green Egg Grill for a much lower price. The only thing missing is the stamp identifying it as a Green Egg part.

Perfect topper
Easy to use, easy to set the temperature. I love the rain shield. I’ve used it a few times in very heavy rain with zero issues.

Fit just right!
Bought this for my old Primo Kamado ceramic grill cause my old topper broke. This one fit my grill.Better venting options than the original.

Worked great ... until it broke!
This cap was working great; keeping the rain out, not rusting like a previous brand I had. But then while I was simply closing it, the cap broke off the hinge. Very disappointed. Should have lasted much longer.

Proper fit replacement
Not much to say. It fits and it works.

Overall very nice
Only issue I really have with this is the fit. You have to really smack on it to get it secure. Seems like it’s just a bit smaller than it should be.

Not Perfect
It came with the some scratches which isn’t the end of the world, but it also doesn’t have a good fit for the Large BGE. I had to put some felt around it to keep a good seal.
