How long can you keep the baby chicks inside of the incubator? the instructions do not say

Remember to take out the yellow egg separator, so the chicks have more room. I left them in the incubator for about eight hours after hatching. Taking out the eggs shell every 45 min being very carefull not to pinch ther foot when closing the cover back up! Remeber slighly opening of the cover not fully open!! You don't want to lose much of the humidity inside of the incubator. Hope this helps.🙂 PS, after taking the chicks out of the incubator put them in a chick brooder with a heat lamp. Look in the internet or Google it to get ideas.

Why does my incubator say the temp is 99.5 but multiple added thermometers inside say 93.5? Is it broken or is there a reason for this?

This is the issue I had with this incubator. The temperature was very unreliable and I have temp spike and drops which can be fatal to eggs.

will the quail eggs rotate fine in this, even if they are small?

It never broke my celadon quail eggs and did several hatches for me. There is a lady on Etsy that makes a quail egg rotator ring that fits the Kebonnix and I have bought it, mainly to hatch more eggs.

If all chicks hatch, how can you house them for 2 days in incubator while they dry/mature? Chicks are hatching and space seems too small. Advice?

I do not leave my chicks in the incubator. The yellow turner comes out which gives them a little more room, but still not enough. When they get their shell just to the point of pushing out or just get themselves out, I move them to a brooder box under a light to finish and dry off, otherwise they climb and roll all the others who are still working on it. I’ve had AMAZING results with this incubator! I’m working on my 4th set of eggs already and have had at least 9 each time. I’ve only lost one chick, the others weren’t viable from the beginning.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS INCUBATOR!

I just ordered my 3rd one yesterday because quail math caught up to me and I have more eggs coming tomorrow ! Oops! This incubator works perfectly, super reliable and hasn’t failed me ever. I’ve had 2 of them for 4+ years . Ive had amazing hatch rates, I can see the babies really well and they have space to move (I have an Etsy made quail egg turner so it holds 22 jumbo quail eggs per incubator) I add shelf liner cut to shape for the floor when it’s time for lockdown! Super easy to use and I only add water at the end to hike up humidity. Definitely worth it when its price was 100$ and now.

Guter Inkubator im vergleich mit einem ohne Luftfeuchtigkeit Kontrolle Hat im Vergleich ein deutlich besseres Ergebnis als ein günstigeres Teil 4 brutzyklen benutzt hatte ein gutes Ergebnis Aber waren trotzdem bei jedem Mal welche dabei die nicht geschlüpft sind obwohl geschiert und bei manchen Eiern musste ich nachhelfen und etwas Schale entfernen War ca. 50/50 erfolgsquote Ansonsten guter Inkubator man sieht alles hält Temperatur gut ist leicht zu bedienen Lautstärke ist annehmbar

Viel versprochen, wenig gehalten!

Na doch recht kurzer Lieferzeit kam der inkubator bei mir an. Der Karton der Maschine war leicht beschädigt und geflickt. Ausgepackt und festgestellt das keine Anleitung vorhanden ist, kein Problem... man kennt die Dinger und es ist kein hexenwerk diese bedienen zu können.... jedoch ist es gar nicht möglich eine Temperatur oder Wendezeit einzustellen! Das Hygrometer zeigt praktisch immer die selben Werte an, im Bereich von 50-60% egal wie viel Wasser drin ist, oder wie weit die lüftungsöffnung offen ist... was natürlich am Hygrometer der Machine liegt, da mit externen getestet. Das Licht zum schieren der Eier war leider auch schon bei Erhalt defekt.... die Temperatur ist fix auf 100F eingestellt und hält sich dort angeblich gut... absoluter Blödsinn... die Temperatur pendelt von unten nach oben und variiert dabei um satte 3 Grad ! Somit ist ein ausbrüten eig unmöglich... schade, da er doch vom Material her einen sehr guten Eindruck macht. Geht natürlich zurück...
