I bought these for my greenhouse. When the temp gets too hot or too cold based on my settings, I get an alarm on my phone and Alexa device. Then I can quickly check to see what's causing the problem before my plants suffer. I have one for the front and back of the greenhouse. These work as Bluetooth up to a certain range. I also found one that works with wifi so I can keep up with the readings when I'm away from home.
