GPI Overhaul Kit for EZ-8 Fuel Transfer Pump Manufactured on or Before Jan. 8, 2016, Motor Shaft Key, Two Gears, and Replacement Seals (13750005)

Original ones swoll up and caused the pump to lock up. Sanded them down which worked but every now and then I would basically have to prime the pump to get it to work. So I bought these and everything works flawlessly again. Used in a 2013 attitude toy hauler.

When I bought my toy hauler the fuel station fuel pump didn't work. I removed the pump and the motor worked fine so I ordered this kit. It works fine now and is easy to install.I called the pump manufacturer to order just the gears and they told me someone else handled parts for the RV fuel station pumps, they gave me a name and number. I called them and they wanted about twice what I paid on Amazon and that was not including shipping. Also the manufacturer parts lists show different parts numbers for different years but the guy I spoke with on the phone was telling me "this is the newest one, it'll work". With his high prices and seeming lack of knowledge I went ahead and ordered this kit from Amazon and I'm glad I did.

I had read online that when gears swell you could shave them enough so they spin. That didn't work. Pump moves gears but no flow. Bought his and easily installed and works perfect. Don't waste your time trying to shave the gears. Buy this and be done.

So these are the dark gears, which supposedly indicates these are made of newer material that will not swell overtime. We will see if that is the case. My RV is over 10 years old and this is the second set of gears I am replacing. First went kaput in 3 or 4 years and about the same for the replacement. Replacing gears is not that hard, but it sucks when your pump stops working in middle of the riding weekend.

Glad I found where someone replaced the gears on their fuel pump to get it working as I was about to buy a new fuel pump and try to replace it. Glad I didn't. I ordered this kit and was able to swap out the gears easily and it actually worked and my fuel pump now works again. So happy.

Installed the new gears and bada boom bada bing, pump worked good as new again!! Very happy with this purchase, GPI charges $45 for the same kit (GPI EZ-8RV pump). My factory gears in the pump ended up swelling which caused the pump to seize and blow the fuse in our toy hauler. The temporary fix while your waiting for your replacement gears is to remove the two plastic gears and slightly sand down the sides of each gear using fine sandpaper in a figure 8 motion to be sure you are evenly sanding the part. Hope this helps

My pump was locking up. Replacing the gears fixed it. The pump housing o-ring was the correct size. The o-rings that came in the kit for the back flow poppet valve and the electrical connection housing were the wrong size, but luckily that did not matter because the old ones were still good.
