If you've got a beard like a mountain-man, or know someone who does then this is a great product. A load of great items come in this neatly packaged box to use for beards including a beard balm, conditioner, oil, a brush and scissors. The liquids and balm have a nice lemony fragrance to them, however, some people may not like this so it's down to individual taste, but I like the smell of it. It's a great price for the products you get, and the person I brought it for seems to like it. The price you'd pay for all of this would be dramatically more, especially if you brought it in a supermarket. So, I recommend, if your looking for some beard related stuff, to but this, the full package of everything you'd need.

Brilliant kit for the money, oils feel really good and the beard balm is amazing. The brus is really good for styling and the comb feels high quality but haven’t used it much due to not having a long beard. The main reason I bought the kit was for the derma roller which hasn’t disappointed and feels really high quality, I’ve used the kit every day since I bought it and would highly recommend.

This kit covers all the basics, and it’s packaged nicely for gift-giving. The oils smell pleasant and the balm is smooth, though the brush bristles felt a bit too stiff. The scissors are basic and functional, and the comb works in a pinch. It's a good starter set, but don’t expect premium quality across the board.

Got this for my hubby who has a really nice beard he absolutely loves this and I can tell when he’s used it and when he hasn’t scissors are brilliant for trimming around your lips and just doing little tidy ups with the comb which is good when you have a thicker beard like mine . The products are amazing I can tell a big difference when I’ve used them and my daughter who’s six will say daddy you used your bread shampoo look you have no beard snow lol

Overall, I am pleased with this beard kit. Personally, I got it mostly for the oil and the balm and those happen to be my favorite parts of the set. I'm going to shortly review each piece of kit on its own. The Beard OIl A very oily oil! It's not thick, a bit more on the watery side. This is good as it makes for an easier application to the beard and allows you to get it down to the roots. My beard is only short medium length at this point, so I can't speak for a medium or long length beard, but I presume it should still be easy to get the oil spread with a brush, such as the one included with the kit. I already condition my beard regularly and used pure argan oil and jojoba oil on their own daily, so my beard had already been well conditioned, but this oil has been working very well in their stead. I know it contains both those oils plus some others and I know the ingredients work. I do have an issue with the dropper for the oil, though. It seems to leak somehow. I've cleaned off the whole bottle and dropper and made sure it had no oil on the outside, yet every time I pick it back up, there is some oil coating the dropper's bulb. It seems it somehow seeps out. Very strange. Not a big deal and it's not like it's spilling everywhere, but it's a little bit annoying. The Beard Balm Pretty nice stuff. It's oily oily oily! It's basically the same ingredients as the included oil (give or take a couple), but with a beeswax base so it can weigh down your beard hairs a bit and make them stick together instead of poking off away from your face. It's has a consistency like petroleum jelly. I find that it does help keep my beard hairs overall together somewhat, but I tend to trim hairs that stick out too much, so it's hard to say how well it works at keeping flyaways down, but I imagine it should do the job based on my experience and knowledge of beeswax and balms. Do note that this does make your beard look oily and shiny. Whether you like this will be a matter of preference. It doesn't stay shiny all day. I do find that it seems to absorb over the day and later on, it looks dry. But do note that if you habitually touch and play with your beard like I do, you will get oily fingers! The Sandalwood Comb It seems good quality. Definitely real wood. I haven't given it much use personally, but that's because I prefer more of a fine-toothed comb because I believe that detangles more and can help get oils in between more hairs. However, the wider tooth layout of this comb makes it so you don't get snagged. Like I mentioned above, my beard isn't super long yet, so this preference is based on that. The wood comb may become much more useful as my beard gets longer, since I imagine the fine-toothed comb I use will start to get snagged more and more as the beard gets thicker. The Brush First thing to point out is that this brush is pretty tiny. If you've ever seen or used one of these handle-less brushes before, then you may be expecting something about the size of your palm that extends a little. This is about half the size of that. The bristles are pretty soft. This will be another matter of preference, but for me personally, I prefer them a bit harder so I can feel them getting down to the skin as I brush the hairs. It's not a bad brush, but not my personal preference. The Scissors Really not much to say about these. They're a cheap little pair of scissor that work well. They're not crazy sharp and they get the job done, but I prefer to use my buzzer. Scissors may be better if you need to get one hair here and there. The Presentation The kit as a whole looks great. This is why I say it would make a great gift. They really did put some thought and money into the packaging. I like how most of the things come in their own boxes within the box and the layout looks great when you open it up. Everything is made with quality materials that feel more expensive than the kit really costs. The outer box comes in a nice sleeve made of a sort of plastic material that looks and feel very premium and the gold accents really add to the premium look. Overall, this is a very nice kit at a darn good price. You could pay this price for just the oil or the balm alone. Whoever you give this to will likely think you spent a lot more on them.

I've only used the oil and balm a couple of times, but they truly are unscented. The brush was a bit smaller than I thought it would be, but feels nice and does a good job. The comb fits nicely in my hand and feels great. The scissors will get the job done (I haven't used them yet). The carrying case/bag is a pretty cheap little drawstring thing, but it carries everything. The only thing I suggest is that the company proofreads their E-book. It's riddled with errors and was hard for me to be patient enough to get through it. All in all, I'd recommend this beard care kit.

My husband likes the kit “ok” he says lol. His chief complaints are that the comb is small and not the best quality, and he is especially disappointed that there seems to be zero scent to any of the product. I must admit I was disappointed myself that there is no scent, just an “oily” scent that you might get from a basic olive oil or cooking oil. I will order some sandalwood or other musky essential oil to add a drop or two to the beard oil. My husband does like the beard conditioner and only wishes there was more of it. Not too bad for the price I paid for it, would’ve been more disappointed if I had paid more.

I grew out a pretty shaggy looking beard last winter for the first time and I couldn't figure out why it wasn't looking awesome. Did some research, and, well, duhhhhhh when grow one out without beard oil/balm/care it's not going to look great no matter who you are. This product worked well for me as a first-time user. Didn't notice any scents from the oil and both the oil/balm provided immense value to the wearability/looks of my grown-out beard for the remainder of the duration that I had it. Packaged in a way that would make it a good gift for any adult male growing out a beard, but not exorbitantly fancy - which was more than fine for me. If you're scouring Amazon for beard care products I will say this: I don't have immense experience with all different types of oils and balms, but I have nothing but praise for this kit. The scissors and beard comb were also an excellent plus as I hadn't owned either of those before purchasing this. Beware of storing the scissors in the black bag that the kits comes with as it will eventually poke all sorts of holes out of it if you are on the move.

I bought this for my youngest son to give to his dad for Fathers Day and he loved it . It is a very nice gift, it is salon quality and it is a very nice kit. His dad loves the way that the conditioning balm makes his beard and mustache feel, it makes his beard and mustache much smoother and the brush is much better and easier he said than the regular hair brushes that he used before. I also loves the scissors and pouch that came with it because it is able to be put in his car so on the way to work he can brush his beard out and able to put the balm on himself also. I know I will be buying another of these real soon so he can keep one in the house
