It works well
It’s a nice microwave. Easy to use. Functional. Smaller size. Color is good. We got this as a back up microwave when our main ones break, until we get another big one. Usually you have to wait a few days when you order stuff. And that’s not an option to wait. So we got this one. We ended up using it several times for breakfast, lunch and dinner to heat up food and water. So I feel we got our money’s worth already. It works! But we just want bigger microwaves in our house to use on a regular basis everyday. Something 1000 watts or more. We got 1200 watts this time and we’re trying a combination microwave/oven/air fryer. And it’s really good for us. Recommend!

Simple and Easy to Use, with Some Minor Issues Over Time
This microwave is easy to use and works well for basic everyday heating. The controls are simple and straightforward, and it gets the job done without any complicated settings. However, after a few months of use, the door button started to feel less responsive and requires more effort to open. The defrost function is also not very effective and doesn’t always thaw food evenly. Overall, it is a good value for the price and works fine for basic needs, but there is still room for improvement in durability and performance features.

Easy-to-Use Microwave
The BLACK+DECKER Digital Microwave Oven is easy to use with a clear digital display and a convenient push-button door. The turntable ensures even heating, and the child safety lock adds extra peace of mind. It heats food quickly and reliably, making it great for everyday cooking. The compact design fits well in most kitchens. One thing I’m not used to is that the interior light is quite dim when the door is opened.

It’s loud
I have to say, I’m getting used to it, but it’s loud. I also didn’t care for the child lock on it, but it can be disabled, and will need to be disabled should there be a power interruption. It heats well enough, hard for me to compare because my last one was 1100 ways, this guy is 1000 so you lose a little power. All in all, it’s a decent microphone for the price. I can’t speak to the longevity as of yet, but I hope it does well there. 05/10/25 This microwave has been awful from the beginning. It heats inconsistently. You’ll warm a cup of room temp coffee one time and it will take a minute, the ext time it will be a minute and a half. I’ve been dealing with this since purchase, but today the door aluminum shell) fell off. I was doing dishes and heard a noise, and the door cover was on the floor. I called the number of the manufacturer given here on Amazon, only to be told it was the wrong number. They gave me another number, and I called. The fellow took my information and told me to expect an email. The email requested the normal proofs of purchase, a photo of the door off and the serial number. I did a screenshot of the invoice on Amazon and sent it off. Within 10 minutes I got an email saying that the screenshot didn’t show the total price with taxes. So I went back to Amazon and did a copy paste of the invoice, which shows everything. Got another email stating they could not accept this. So I have spent numerous hours trying to get a PDF of the invoice from Amazon. I have had (unfortunately) to do this one other time, but I’m not enjoying the repeated calls, long wait times and in my opinion, Amazon is not as customer friendly as it used to be. Caveat Emptor.

Good smaller microwave.
So far, the microwave has worked very well. Its a slightly smaller microwave. But it fits the size in my cabinet space. It still has good cooking power. Its easy to use.

Died after 2 1/2 months; customer service is a nightmare; NOT WORTH IT
Purchased 11/14/25 and on 2/7/26, not even 3 months later, it overheated itself and died 30 seconds into a mundane task of heating a frozen burrito. Became a complete brick afterwards—it must’ve fried something internally. This was bad enough, but the customer service in trying to rectify this has been a nightmare. 1) contacted Amazon first. As the item was just passed its return window, I needed to contact black and decker by emailing Spectrum brands. 2) Cool. I emailed the link provided. 3) A week later, they reply asking me to follow a link to an online form where I am to provide details about the malfunctions product. I fill it out, noting the specific model # wasn’t a selection in the drop down menu on that form. 4) A few days later, they reply that specific model isn’t one they cover and I need to call Black and Decker directly via the phone number provided. 5) I call the number and navigate the phone tree to get to the appropriate division (customer service for kitchen appliances). 6) The person I spoke to took my information and ultimately informed me that this is not a product they, Spectrum Services, cover, and that I need to call Black and Decker directly. 7) Me: …you mean THIS number I’m already calling? I received an email from Spectrum Services that said exactly what you did—call the company directly—and gave me this number. 8) Them: “You were told to call Black and Devker directly and they gave you this number?!” “Yes.” “I’m sorry, it shouldn’t have. You need to go to the Black and Decker website…” me: “No.” Okay, a bit curt, but I was beyond over this. 9) I tried calling the provided number again and this time chose a different phone tree option that got me to a live person. They were finally able help with my case. (Midia support is their name, BTW). They emailed me instructions that included requests for photos of receipt/proof of purchase (including model #, date, total sale, photo of serial number) and a video demonstrating it doesn’t work. I just finished sending all that info over to them, so we shall see. I was told initially that after I sent them the info, they would review it (takes a few weeks) and if approved, will send me a check in another month or two. A long drawn out—and flawed—process that pretty clearly seems focused on getting the customer to give up and cease trying to recover their money. Keep this in mind when buying a cheap appliance on Amazon, even when it’s a name brand. I recommend buying in person at Best Buy or similar if at all possible. Caveat emptor.

Great for a small kitchen
I have a small kitchen in my apartment. I needed a micro for thawing and heating purposes. Instructions were clear for operation. I've used it to heat up leftovers under full power and to thaw some meat with the built in defrosting feature. Color wise, it goes along with the other stainless appliances in the kitchen.

Perfect little microwave
Great size for smaller spaces. Works perfect, heats fast and is so much quieter then our previous microwave. You can barely hear it when it’s running.

DHL el mejor para paqueteria
El producto es bueno pero lo mejor es que DHL lo lleva hasta la puerta de tu casa aunque vivas en una ranchería sin nombre en las calles
