I really love making things with this mold. The detail in the scales is great and they pop out shiny. My only complaint is that the corners and edges of the mold droop down and mess up the leveling, so you need to prop it up on the corners and sides with something-I used finished mermaid tails because they are the perfect height for the mold. Also, store it flat or it will take on a curvature and no longer lay flat when you are trying to use it.

It worked great with candy melts and chocolate. I followed the suggestion of another review and made sure not to overfill. I used a small piping tool to fill the space. Only two broke when extracting

I wasn't really able to use any of the chocolates because they are so thin that they all broke.. I will probably never need to use this again, but I saw someone elses comment say they used fondant. if I was to do it again id probably try that.

Honestly I was real skeptical about using chocolate because people said they would break, I supposed of you treat them like a clumsy giant they will, but not a single one broke for me.. also I didn’t pipe them, I straight used a butter knife and melted some white chocolate chips.Worked amazing. Will be perfect for Birthday cupcakes.

I used this to make tails for mermaid cupcakes. It took a few minutes to get the hang of it, as I’ve never molded candy before. But they came out fine.
