Awesome, budget friendly case.
Not sure why there are so many bad reviews for this. It does what it’s supposed to do and it fits in the dock without issue. The grips make the switch much more comfortable to hold and the case prevents the console from getting scratched.

Shiny hard plastic offers little impact protection for your switch 2. Worst Spigen product ever.
The material is just hard plastic that has a shine to it so it doesn't seem to absorb any impact at all. The grips are too slippery because of that shiny plastic and they are so shallow, they don't help with ergonomics. AND, you need to use adhesive to stick your joycons to it? That makes installation a pain. I have lots of other products from Spigen but this one is the worst by FAR. Very disappointed. Please pull this and go back to the drawing board.

Really want to like it, but quality isn't there
I was really hoping this would be the case. Conceptually I love the idea that I can remove the joycons, access the kickstand, and dock it. However the quality of the case just isn't good. It feels like cheap plastic, the added "grips" are so small they do almost nothing, and the fit is weirdly loose even with using the adhesives. I just kept hearing the whole case creak as it shifts around while I played the Switch 2. Plus it also made the connection of the joycons to the console somewhat loose as well, making the whole system feel unstable. I can't recommend this iteration at all. However I'd love to see Spigen take another swing. It just needs more refinement on the fit and materials. It's almost there, but this version isn't ready.

Its good
I'm not sure why this product has bad reviews — it looks and feels great. It fits in the dock, although it's a bit snug, but I’ve had no issues taking it in or out. The case also feels sturdy and comfortable to hold.

Nothing special.
It's good for protecting the console from scratches and minor bumps, but it adds absolutely nothing in terms of comfort. I only bought it because of the price and to keep my Switch 2 looking new while I decided which cover with good grips to buy.

Does what I need it to.
Things I wanted out of a case when I got my switch 2 are that it needed to be dockable, protect the back from scratches, be light and unobtrusive, and had a matte texture and I feel this accomplished all of that. I have spiegen slim cases for my oled switch and my stream deck and those have a very similar style and form factor to this. As a comparison, I've included pictures of them. While those do feel more premium than this case with their plastic being a bit more solid and having a bit of rubber on the grips, this just has a simple matte texture plastic. I feel though having actually having it on my switch and been using it for over a week it feels better when installed on a switch 2 than it may look. I also like the slight grip it adds to the joycons similar to my switch oled case. It fits in the hard case I have for storing my switch 2 when traveling since it doesn't really add bulk to the switch 2 so I like that about it as well. Being dockable is a main reason I got this over other cases. It does fit in the dock as advertised though it can feel a little snug. I have a tempered glass screen protector on my switch 2 though and that doesnt seem to come as far as the edges of this case so I wouldn't worry too hard about it rubbing against the screen. It is important to know that the joycon 2 grip that comes with the switch 2 will not be compatible when this is on it. Personally though I don't really use it anyways since my switch 1 pro controller and 8bitdo controllers are compatible with the switch 2 and I mainly use those when using it with a tv. Probably wouldnt handle a drop impact as well as a case with non removable joycons though thats partially due to how the joycons are attached to the switch 2 and not really the fault of this case itself. I think it would still atleast prevent most cosmetic damage which is more of what is a concern to me. Some people have been concerned about the adhesive though my prior experience with that on spiegen cases hasn't been an issue so far Overall I like this case so far so I plan to keep using it.

Flimsy, poor quality, no protection at all and requires adhesives
It is super thin and very flimsy and it is no way going to give any kind of protection. On top of it is expensive plus requires adhesive use that may damage the original switch 2 unit permanently. Promptly returning it

Nice
Good case, comfortable. Fits nicely although glue is required. The o ly minus is you can't use the joycons in all configurations and the case blocks that - a not insignificant oversight
