I bought this as a gift for my wife and she absolutely loved it. It was extremely easy to set up, I’d recommend fully charging it before really using it. The design is very beautiful and of good quality plus the keyboard works great and it lights up to really neat colors. It was exactly what she needed for her iPad, which fit perfectly. I would definitely recommend this for anyone with an iPad. Other popular and well known brands just don’t offer very interesting designs.

CASE In POINT: this was supposed to be my closing paragraph and for some reason, it will not proceed to the next line at the bottom of this review. Several times now, I have hit enter to put space between paragraphs and this is how I get to open this review with finding the cursor at the top of the page. FYI, I composed this in another app. They have plenty to work on with this one.You sometimes just don’t know where the cursor may run off to.Take into account the weight of the tablet itself. Once paired with this case and carrying it around, it will feel like a brick. It does add weight. What’s more crazy is the way that it does not seem to provide support and balance on soft surfaces like a bed. The tablet often seems to flip back. I have to literally shift the keyboard forwards towards the flap just for the tablet to be able to have a weight distribution on the case just for it to not topple backwards. I may have been missing the intention of the design of this case, I find it missing me.I have had this case less than a month and there have been significant buffering and lagging of the letters appearing on the screen. I have had to actually come to a full stop for up to an entire minute waiting for the keyboard to come out of its buffering. I do love the clickity sound of the keyboard itself where it’s such a soft touch and not annoying. Of course the backlighting makes you feel like you are using an advanced piece of technology. The colors are very vibrant and is the highlight of the keyboard. However……. The keyboard is seems to have the flimsy feeling of a lot of apple products.The other defect with this case is where there is about a 2-3mm gap at the top/side of the case where the volume adjust buttons are. No matter how hard I push against the case to adjust the volume, it does not make contact on the tablet volume buttons. I have to pull the case off the tablet to do it manually. It’s literally like the 21st century version of having to walk across the room to change the channel on the TV. Or worse, when your parent called you in from YOUR fun to do it for them.I am not calling it junk but it has it’s pros and cons. It worked long enough for me to compose this review of this product. I have had a much more sturdy case for my iPad mini that was less problematic than this case. I would be able to balance it on my lap and having a flat surface did help. With this, I would be mortified to try to place this on my lap. I would think that I have the surface area on my thighs to hold it up. However, the tablet in this case is like a squirmy baby. With babies, it’s like a right of passage if they fall off a lap, bed, etc. But, if the glass of the iPad can be scratched by a human fingernail, I don’t have the confidence that this case will allow for balancing the tablet much less preventing any shattering. (MAY THAT NEVER HAPPEN!!!)
