MAYMII 100% Mulberry Silk Women's Sleeping Cap Night Sleep Hat Hair Care

This is the second one of these I purchased (July 2017), hoping for a better design, but I think this "basket" is even smaller than the first one I ordered.I had been reading the benefits of sleeping in a silk cap so I ordered a few of them a few months ago. Of the three different brands/styles/manufacturers I initially ordered, the pink one of these MAYMII sleeping caps (ordered April 2017) was my favorite. My only wish was that the "basket" in the back that actually holds your hair was bigger. The band around the head is comfortable, I like the tie, but there wasn't much room to put your hair.When I realized I'd need another one for the times when I was washing the pink one, I went back to the same MAYMII company and chose the blue flowered pattern. I crossed my fingers and hoped that the "basket" on this one was more representative of the picture..but alas, it isn't.The two I received are more like "skull caps." My hair is short, just below my shoulders, and I have a hard time getting it to fit in the basket. When I push my hair up and into the back, the sleeping cap slides up my head and has to be adjusted.I don't understand why the beautiful, functional product they advertise isn't what you receive when you order. They seem to know what people want (based on their prototype), but they aren't shipping the same design. To clarify the sizing, the headband part fits as expected, but the design of the back of the product is virtually non-existent. I won't try a third time.

This wrap is great to wear at night. It definitely keeps your hair in place and moisturized. In order to keep my hair healthy, I only wash it every few days, and this wrap allows my hairstyle to hold overnight without frizzing or losing the style. I also really like that only the back of the wrap has elastic, so that my forehead just feels the softness of the fabric.A few cons for the wrap are that the first night, I just tied the wrap in place, and it fell off. However, I have begun using 4 bobby pins at the front to hold it in place, and it has never fallen off during the night since. Another downside is that the wrap is definitely smaller than what it appears online. My hair is about shoulder length and not too thick, and it is tricky to fit it all in at night. Overall though, I am very happy with my purchase.

I have to say I really like this cap. I guess my head is small, because I feel like it fits perfectly and maybe is even a little loose. I measured my hairline circumference and I got 22 inches, and I know most hat knitting patterns are written for 24 inches, so maybe my head is just small.It does not preserve my poofy hairstyle. My hair does get squished overnight and needs fluffing in the morning. The first couple of nights I wore it, it stayed on with no issues, but last night it slipped off; don't know if that's the cap's fault or I tied it wrong.My only beef is that the ties are too short to wrap around the front of my head and then tie again in the back like I want to. But my shoulder-length hair fits in it fine with room to spare.I'm buying more of these, if that makes a difference.

So before ordering this item I read the reviews per usual and I saw it runs small and I measured my head, I expected it to be snug. It fits and I do have a small head so I find it to be perfect, it keeps my hair manageable all day and I love wearing it. Makes my hair much softer and it cools me down in the California heat, incredibly savvy and I'm very satisfied with the buy. I must mention I have long straight hair and it contains it all, I wouldn't recommend it if you have thick/curly hair. My primary use for this buy was to keep my hair hydrated, it does it's job!

Great for keeping the hair settled at night. It is best if you plan to wrap your hair each night and not really meant for rollers. I wish the ties were a bit longer as it is hard to tie tightly enough. I've had it slip off several times.

I had to send it back because it was to small. It was the size for a young child and not an adult. I have sisterlocs and the picture shows it to be about the size of an adult sleep cap with room for my locs to fall, but it did not fit at all. Even if I did not have locs it would not have fitted.

Ladies this thing is small. Like toddler size small; looks larger than it really is. Measure your head before ordering, or it is useless! Pretty material, so disappointed.

It is really pretty and the material is very nice but this is too small and I can not fit all my hair in, because of that the cap will not stay on. My hair is thick curly shoulder length and I don't have a big head at all. I like the idea of this type of cap but I will look for one that is roomier.
