eBags Anti-Theft Carry All Crossbody - Multi Pocket Expandable Bag for Travel & Everyday - (Black)

I had an idea based on reviews and the description that it would be bigger than it was. It is a very typical purse size. Definitely not a carry-on size. I was looking for a "personal item" sized bag to use for traveling. I wanted something that would hold my ipad, medications, boarding pass, hotel and rental car confirmations, and maybe snacks, and possibly be able to hold my sweater if I got too warm. The descriptions and reviews implied it could do all this. There is no way. It would have been awkward to put my ipad in and get it back out, because the bag opening is about the length of the ipad.I returned it and will keep looking for something that is more travel sized and less "average purse" sized.

I bought this purse early to get used to it for an overseas trip. I loved it—UNTIL, while on the trip, the wiring on the outside small pocket poked through the plastic covering—no rhyme nor reason for why that could-have/should-have happened. It certainly was not due to misuse or sharp instruments of any kind. It had to be a defect. So now I have a $90.00 purse that pricks my finger every time I open the outside zip. NOT happy!

If I could do zero stars, I would. Bought this in mid-january, barely used it and now in mid-march, the wire has broken thru at the seam of the strap. Though this is clearly a manufacturer's defect, they will not accept a return as it is past 30 days. This is too much money to waste

I am a HUGE fan of eBags bags and I have the Piazza (old & new version) as well as the Kalya bags. I was very excited to get this anti-theft bag since it is at a size in between the Piazza & Kalya. I was able to fit a file folder into the bag and it's not as heavy as the Kalya bag. However, here are the reasons why I just gave it 3 stars:- Sewing quality is not up to par with the other eBags bags - There are loose stitches attaching the anti-theft clip to the shoulder strap. Also, it looks very unfinished to have the ugly stitching on a very noticeable part of the strap.- Fewer pockets than Piazza bag - Although is is bigger, it has far fewer pockets than the Piazza bag. Unlike the Piazza, the two side pockets do NOT have zippers to prevent items such as pens or umbrellas from falling out.- No wire reinforcement on the shoulder strap - I have tried on other anti-theft bags and they tend to have a wire inserted into the shoulder strap to prevent thieves from slashing the strap. This strap is just plain seatbelt material with finished seams on the edges. Very disappointing.- No magnetic snaps - I was surprised that the snaps at the back of the bag as well as those on the sides are just plain metal ones and not the magnetic ones found on other eBags bags. They feel cheap and unsnap easily.Overall, this bag feels like a rough draft and not the final product with the many issues I noted. If you can get it on sale, it's an ok deal. If you have to pay the full prize, either the eBags Piazza or Kalya are better options.
