Darkest Legacy Paperback – January 1, 2018

The final book of the darkest minds series is just as amazing as the previous ones. I read the first three books two years ago and some of the characters died and it was really sad that I decided not to read the darkest legacy. But I somehow found my way back to this series and I finally decided to give it a try.I am so glad I did it.This book kept me on the edge until the very last page and I couldn't put it down. It's cleverly written and you get to meet new characters who are just as amazing as the others. I really loved Zu as the protagonist here and you get a wider view of their world. I thought that this book would end in disappointment with some of the main characters dead, but how wrong I was. The ending is so beautiful and it's a fitting ending to a beautiful series.I really really hope there will be another book though because I really want to know what would happen to Clancy. I also read the whole series again because I had forgotten some parts but the time I wasted for it was worth it.

This was amazing, heart wrenching, gripping end to a great saga. I only wish there was more to come. Action, angst, loyalty and determination , a story that flowed from start to finish.

I didn’t think I could love the book as much as I did the previous ones without Ruby and Liam front and centre. I was so wrong. I loved every bit of Zu’s journey and hope there are more books to come that tell her story.

This book was brilliant. It was great to have it from Zu's point of view. After so long with her not speaking in the previous books, it was great for her to have her own voice.The storyline was great and I liked the aspect of having glimpse into the world 5 years later. Many book series end leaving the reader thinking, 'what happens next and does the world change?'Things really are not that much better and the more the plot progressed, the more we saw that it was far from what they even believed things were at.The story was fast paced throughout. I liked the new characters introduced. Roman and Priya both had great personalities and their abilities made them unique. Max and Lana were also nice additions.I loved seeing everyone back together in the end. Over 5 years, things had definitely changed but a friendship like they all had was always going to come first and win through everything they had all been through.Overall, this book was brilliant. I would definitely recommend it. I would say that it definitely needs to be read as the 4th book in the series otherwise the characters and the state of the world wouldn't really make sense.jessreviews877169955.wordpress.com

I left the series for all of two days and that was all it took to lose interest in the series. They are my favourite books, and I'm so upset I've had to give it three stars, but I promised myself I'd be honest in these reviews. It isn't the book's fault, it's 80% mine. I'm saying eitghy though because I just found the whole thing a bit same-y. The book didn't really seem to be going anywhere either - it just kept going on and on. This might have been me - and there are plenty of others saying this book is their favourite in the series - but I really didn't get this one like I did with the others. Go ahead and read it if you haven't already; just make sure you read it straight after you read the last!

This is definitely the best book of the series for me. One of my all time favorite books. I love it i love it i love it!!!! If you are reading this Alexandra, please please please write another book to the series!!! Maybe from Chubs or Liam's point of veiw next? Or another book for Zu, ***(spoilers)*** maybe going more into the love stories between Zu and Roman, and Lana and Priyanka.I recomend this book to all. its a fantastic book, and once again please write another!!!! This is an amazing read. I was unsure about a story taken from just Zu's perspective but it totally paid off. The book really give insight into how Zu has grown and adapted to the World and those around her. Some awesome new characters who I have grown to love as they kept us guessing in the beginning. The depth and layers of the story is incredible and so well written. I'm such a fan of the series anyway but this is definitely one of the best ones. I'm hoping it doesn' t end here. There is so. much more to tell. What's next for Roman and Zu? Do they settle in the new Haven or find out that the conspiracy runs deeper than they initially thought. What's Cruz's real agenda? What about Ruby and the rest of the gang? So much is left unsaid and unanswered. This can't be the last one.

I loved the first three books, couldn't read them fast enough. But this sequel was disappointing, the back and forth with the time was confusing and there was a lack of depth to most of the characters.I loved the idea and the story overal.. it just didn't gel, too much in too little time. I think it should have been expanded to give it the depth you get in the previous books.
