It's a must have... These are the reasons why, it is tiny, which in my photo you can see it weighing in around .1 ounces... In grams that's about 2.8 g even less than their posted stat which is a plus... It's an mmcx which can connect directly to the 5.8ghz transmitter without the need to the pig tail... Even less weight saved there... I flew within the same area I usually fly with my clover antenna and I had no issue at all.... My fly zone is, totally guessing, a 2,000 foot radius at this huge park I go to.... like 4 baseball diamond field and then some.... no issue loving it..... It's casing is very hard, not certain material but I'm guessing heavy duty plastic with some epoxy powder coating which makes for durability in high impact situations.... Don't see a seem line which seems to be a recurring issue with my clover leaf..... The base at the fitting is reinforced so it cannot bend around where it is black, and good shielding for the semi conductor.. totally recommend it, I will be getting more of these for my micro quads for sure

Works well, didn't notice any better or worse video reception compaired to some of the more expensive antennas.
