Q: My old gear knob screws on would this work on it?

It won't screw on because it uses set screws to hold it it will probably work though I had to do minor modification to get it to slip totally over the threaded part on my shift stick

I'm quite sure it will fit any shift shaft. Just tighten the small allenhead locking screws and away you go. Off to enjoy your new 44 magnum six shooter shift knob . . . .for bout two stop lights. Then you'll be pulling over searching for that tiny little allen wrench again, secure them tightly and back on the road. You shouldn't have any trouble with it loosing up for at least 5 miles this time. then Pull over tighten, drive. Pull over tighten, drive. I embellish but you get my point. Seriously it took us several weeks of trying before we could get it to stay in place for any length of time. Good luck
