Perfect degree of translucency. I get plenty of light but anyone who happened to be lurking around outside at night wouldn't be able to through them. I know, because I made my husband stand in the bedroom naked and I went outside to check. (Just kidding about the naked part.)

LUVZ THEM!!!!! I am very picky when it comes to my home decor. I have been searching for over a year for the perfect curtains. I love sunshine in my home, but the harsh Florida heat is killing my electricity bill. These curtains allow some of my sunshine in while keeping the harsh heat out. They're classy and gorgeous! I plan on buying another set for the window right next to it.

I live in a Senior Community with a beautiful view out my bedroom window. All of my windows are fitted with blinds. I love being able to look out and see beautiful scenery right here in a smal city environment. I also work from home. Although I love being able to see the natual light filtering through my semi-sheer curtains, I prefer not to have my neighbors see inside my apartment unless I have invited them to look inside. I can close my blinds for complete privacy, open my blinds and leave my draperies closed permitting light to enter my apartment and allow me to see movement outside or I can fully open my draperies by simply sliding them open on the rod. I am a very happy comsumer.

There are several reasons I love theses curtains. The silk like feel of the fabric, the sheen the fabric has, they have weights in the hem which helps them to hang properly and look classy. Because they had a few wrinkles from being packaged i wanted to iron them to see how well the wrinkles would come out and it was a breeze the fabric irons well and with little effort which is good because I want my things to look good and be low maintenance. My husband Jeff bought 2 pairs for me and I am so happy with them I had to write the review because I know I touched down on important information people would want to know about theses wonderful curtains. I will buy from this company again and will tell my family and friends about this company. EILEEN B.

These were great curtains. The weights sewed into the corners at the bottom we're a pleasant surprise. They provided a nice light and also add privacy so that no one passing by outside can easily see in. Unfortunately I returned them because the off-white color was more white. The embroidery is also very well-done and doesnt look rough. Unless the wrong product was sent to me, I am not sure. But it didn't look creamy like in the picture. I had such high hopes's for these because of the other reviews. And the first package I opened was perfect they both have the same links that they hung beautifully I love the weighted hems. Then I open up the second pair. Completely different experience. One was too long and hung on the touch the ground. And the other was visibly 2 inches shorter at the end then the other one. Where is the quality control???

I love these curtains. I purchased them in Linen and Grey. Both colors are beautiful. They are not 100% room darkening, but that wasn't my goal. I can still see out of my window, but seeing in from the outside is almost impossible. The fabric feels soft, but not flimsy. Weights are sewn into the bottom corners which helps. when I took them out of the pack, they weren't wrinkled at all. I was able to hand them straight up. I will order more for my daughter.

My husband rarely notices anything, but he said he really liked them, so that alone rates five stars. What I liked was they look nice, just the right weight of sheerness....not heavy and a little privacy/sun filter (not sun block), easy to hang, the embroidery pattern is very nice My dislike was I thought the wrinkles would come out easier with a light rinse and hang when damp, but they did not. Also the hem doesn't seem totally straight, just off slightly, maybe because they are holding wrinkles. I'm will try ironing this week, but it makes me nervous because I believe this type of material is easily scorched. But overall, they are very nice for this price range.

Overall I like these curtains but they are almost an inch longer then specified and although I ordered off white both pairs are so white that if they were any whiter I would go snow blind. (At least both pairs are the same color). Not worth the hassle to exchange them though.

Estas cortinas están muy bonitas y de buena calidad, las recomiendo mucho. Van muy bien con un juego de cortinas black-out en habitación o en sala se ven bien.
