Great compact size. Beautiful wood detail. Pictures do not do it justice. The pegs are heavy, not cheap feel. Latch on box is quality, it won't "open up" after years of use.Happy with purchase.

At first glance this box looks good but upon a closer look this box is poorly made. Pieces of wood fell out when I opened it. Poorly glued. Cribbage pegs fell out and rolled all over the place. Felt wasn't glued to box. Holes are crooked. Box doesn't lay flat when opened. Poorly placed hinges. Cards appeared to have been played with already. Shuffled and some missing. Overall a very poorly made and only barely usable box. I strongly recommend you stay away from this garbage box. I will be returning ASAP as there is zero quality control.

A cribbage board is made up of 60 or 120 holes (you either go around once or twice), in sections of five for ease of counting. This board looks great from the start - but when you start playing, its quite quickly evident that four holes are missing (one section only has six holes instead of ten). It wouldn't take much to Quality Control and send it back to have it finished... but they didn't. We can work around it by using the two end holes instead, but it was disappointing. If I can find someone with a tiny drill, we might be able to fix it.... Other than that, I love how the cards and pegs fit inside, so it is easy to carry the board and know everything is there... no hunting for a pack of cards.

This is a really cute item, but the function of it stinks. It did not lay flat when opened to play cribbage. My father took it apart and put different brackets on it . It is now a functioning cribbage board. Sad

I love the size of this. However, it is difficult to play on. The holes for the pegs are very plain. On traditional boards, there is a labeled start and finish with color and numbers. When playing on this board it is difficult to keep track of how far you have gone/have left without anything being labeled.

It fits perfect for travel cribbage.
