fantastic set of tools! used the impact to drive 6 inch GRK fasteners through a 4 ply LVL beam and it worked flawlessly. Plenty of power, easy to handle, battery lasts plenty long enough. the head does get warm/hot with extended tough use. it is a bit loud too, but that expected with an impact. The hammer drill packs a punch too. and as a bonus, the flashlight is killer too. overall, best tool purchase this year.

Quality product on time delivery

So I was looking for the Hammer Drill version of the cordless drill and just happened to stumble across this little gem. Not only do you get the Hammer Drill but you also get a very handy light, another drill, and a 2amp & 4 amp battery... yes you heard me correctly... you get two batteries with this purchase. This package was just slightly higher than what you would pay for just the Hammer Drill so I would say this is one of the best deals on the market right now. Trying to find a drill setup that has one battery under $200 is rare and here you have 2 drills, 1 light, and two batteries for just under $200. Also, the craftsmanship of Kobalt equipment is top notch and I have never had any issues with there equipment.

I purchased this because it seemed to be a great value. However, upon further evaluation, both of the lithium-ion batteries I received have date codes from 5 years ago (November 2020). I'm not sure how much life I will get from 5-year-old batteries. I may return this order to Amazon since I am still within 30 days of purchasing.
