Thor Destroyer Action Figure W2

This is a solid toy offering from Marvel and the only action figure from the Thor movie that I purchased for the boys (yes, thats it...I purchased it for the boys). It is thick and heavy and feels good in the hand. It doesn't have that many points of articulation but it is a wonderful sculpt.So if you enjyed the Destroyer in the film or just enjoy the historical (comic book) Destroyer then this is the toy for you (or your kids). Somewhere in the house my oldest son is playing with this right now.Verily!PS. I could not find this toy in any local retailers so this and e-bay are your only options.

This toy is fantastic quality! I was surprised how rugged the toy is and it's heavier than I anticipated. My son plays with it all the time. What I was really happy about is the toy really looks exactly like the Destroyer in the Thor movie.

Should be a little bigger, the Fantastic Four Thing is bigger than it... anyway is very well done and it was cheap

After receiving the item through the post in the UK I was happy the box didn't get knocked about too much and seemed in good condition. The item was open in the box I.e. No plastic case covering it, but had wires holding it on place. The only thing that lets it down is the finish. There are clearly areas where the artist/painters in a factory were rushing through them. For instance there are areas which were missing the final coating and slightly ruin the effect. It's a shame as the figure is otherwise one of the best I've seen for the Destroyer and at the price I'm happy with it. Maybe you get lucky and have a finished version with no marks.

I recieved my action figure,i was disappointed caus on the description it says 10" tall and its about 6" plus it came with no plastic cover over it jus some wire tie ups....20/30 is no big deal to me but i wont bother buying from this person again....

This figure is a great representation of the movie version of The Destroyer, and also fairly comic book accurate as well. It's about 8" tall, so it fits in great (I think) with the Marvel Select Thor movie figures and and Marvel Legends Thor figures as well. The paint and detailing is wonderful as well.A lot of people get frustrated at the lack of articulation on this figure, but not me. Let's be clear, this is part of Hasbro's 8" movie themed figures that they started doing (I believe) with either Iron Man 1 or the Incredible Hulk movie a few years ago. The line has had limited articulation (cuts at the neck, shoulders and hips for a total of 5 p.o.a.) from the start, and to expect anything more is an unfair expectation. For what this line is, this is a great figure, and a great option for adding a bulking 8" Destroyer to your collection!

I read the original Thor issues when the Destroyer appeared back in the 60s and have always deemed him the best Thor villain. I was pleasantly stunned to see him turn up in the Thor movie! While I did not especially care for the slight revision in his look, it was only slight, so I didn't much mind. And I was delighted to see such a wonderful Destroyer figure! Not much articulation, but little is needed. Do you need to have the Destroyer do the Watusi? Looks great just standing there looming menacingly! I love him! You will, too!

Solid built. Not flimsy at all. Not worried about the articulations. This is something you put on a Cool pose and just leave him on the entertainment center to look at and show.

Die Thor Serie von Hasbro brachte uns einige Destroyer, aber wie auch der 4" Iron Monger aus der Iron man 2 Serie waren sie einfach zu klein um zur 4" Serie zu passen. Hier kommt dieser Destroyer in's Spiel. Er bewegt sich leider nur an den großen 5 - Beine, Arme, Kopf - sieht aber, dank seiner hohen Detaildichte sehr gut mir anderen Thorfiguren aus. Zuerst war ich mir sicher, er würde einfach Rotocast sein, wie es so oft gemacht wird, musste aber feststellen, das das Ding im verhältnis wirklich schwer ist, Vollplastik. ein schönes Ding, rein optisch. Dafür aber ohne irgendein Feature, kein Light-Up, kein garnix.Am Ende des Tages muss man sagen, importiert ist er preis-leistungsmässig eher teuer und langweilig. Da ich aber schon "The Warriors Three" in 4" Größe mein eigen nannte (Volstagg, Hogun und Fandral) brauchte ich noch diese Figur um zumindest die wichtigsten Thorfiguren abzudecken.
