Sloan Liniment
Excellent liniment. This is not meant for quick instant use. This is meant for deep and serious aches. It does not work immediately you rub it on the aching muscle or part of your body. It needs internal heat from your body to start working. You may rub it on the aching part, and nothing will happen for 2hrs or more. It is best to take a bath when going to bed at night, then use cotton balls to rub the liniment on the seriously aching region. The liniment does have an unusual smell to it---but you will get used to it eventually. Then, sit for about 1 - 2 hrs before go to bed and let the liniment get into your skin's pores. Cover the aching part with a blanket whole in bed so that your body heat is preserved. Eventually, at some point, it will fire up when there is enough of your body heat to fire it up. As it fires, you will feel the heat like a real fire burning your skin. That intense burn is the liniment going to work in a serious way. It may burn for hours. By the time you wake up in the morning, you may feel sweaty but you will notice at least 40% - 60% improvement in the relief of aches and pain. You will be surprised how deep the improvement has been. If that part of your body was swollen, you will also notice a reduction in the swelling. This liniment is for serious situations where the aches makes it difficult to move part of your body. Your biggest challenge will be to get your body to generate the heat this liniment needs to go to serious work. This is my go-to liniment when everything else fails. The power of this liniment is impressive when it goes to work on you.

This product, invented in the 1890s works against sore muscles and strains. I have used it for years and when mixed with other ingredients it works very well for me I apply it daily.
